I had to post this poem here for all you CC Mommys....I wrote this for my own dear mother a few hours ago....But I also wrote it in the genre that it could be shared with anyone for anyone no matter how many.....so for all you CC Mommys...my poem for you on Mothers Day
MOTHERS MANSION
A mansion to honor Mothers is what I would love to build,
I'd frame the doors with diamonds, and the paint would be Gold Guild.
Not because they seek riches or the trappings of this Earth,
But to offer the very best to you, who gave so much to give us birth.
To reflect the love you've given us, and reflect our love for you,
A fountain in the foyer,with waters oh so blue.
The water would be gathered, from the tears we've made you cry
Happy tears and sad ones too, when we had to say goodbye.
Kitchen walls papered, with memories of meals,
Your loving smile lighting holidays, hearing grandchildrens squeals.
Hung upon the wall, an apron worn and stained
Beets juice, bloody nose and boogers.With Love this rag was framed.
The living room would be so very grand,with walls up to the sky
The floors would stretch from pole to pole and let me tell you why.
It has to hold the love that you have shown through all these years
It was this room where you gathered us, to deal with all our fears.
The bedrooms would be many, and the colors rainbow hue
The colors of the rainbow, would be flowing through and through,
For Mother all you are , and all you've done can best be seen,
Through the colors Red and Violet and all the colors in between.
I'll hire Jesus Contractors, and get them working straight away
The foundation will be built, two thousand years ago today.
The Mansion will be ready, turnkey is the order
And if it's not too much trouble Mom, Can I be your first boarder?
OMG, I was reading this and at the same time out loud to my friend, and I think I made it to the second paragraph before a lump in my throat grew bigger and bigger.. I barely made it to the end, squeaking out the last couple lines- This is a wonderful and beautiful poem! You wrote this a few hours ago? WOW.. Do you mind if I share this with others, including facebook? I will be sure to add your name as the author (but I need to know it first,lol)

Cambaby...I started writing this poem for my wife Linnie..then my own sweet Mother....then I decided it was a poem for all Mothers in this world that put so much into their children.....you can feel free to share it with the whole world Cambaby.....as long as they have a Mother ..lol..........
