Is it me or is the spam watch cleaner making the forum slower more than ever, it never used to slow it down that much, but it seems to me that its making things slower than ever just recently

you know what? It reminds/make me think i have a dial up connection, when the pages used to take about 10 seconds to load. Is technology going forwards or backwards?

Hi ya,
If you're experiencing these slow times can you please perhaps make a note of the times when this happens (or post them as a reply here) so I can see and look over the server logs?
The spam-watch is limited to a certain amount of activity at a time and sadly has become a bit essential in order to keep the scum posts off.
I have made a couple more tweaks to how the spam watch cleaner processes things which hopefully will improve things there a little.

I have to say, every time since yesterday. At all different times. It reminds me of the home/landing POGO page 
Server updated 6 mos ago. NOW both there & HERE at CC....... It totally FREEZES my PC up lasting 12-14 Seconds.

I have to say, honestly Geno, it has cut down that "freeze" to about 6 seconds & I say TY, every bit helps

Well, i found it was all pages.
It haven't noticed it as much since i made the original post, now that maybe because i have just managed to miss when its running or you may have changed things a little, but i will update this post when i notice it again
