I haven't played any poker for about 3 months and tonight I received a free $10 chip for verifying my account at Stetson Poker.

I was playing one on one with a guy and he was taking my money so I left that table. I went from $10 down to $6.98 and thought that was enough of that!

So I was sitting around wanting to play and decided to go into a tournament. buyin was $5.00 + 50 cents.

I was nervous about it since I hadn't played in awhile but took the bit by the mouth and joined.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

You know what's funny? I can remember you and our Guru posting back and forth at PC and you were SO SURE you could never win any game in poker!!! Now you beat out more than just a small table of opponents!!!

I think it's wonderful and I hope you tell the Guru. Wish I could see his reaction if you do!!!!!! He was SO SURE you could do this!!!

By the way, I have to confess. I, myself, didn't know if you could ever take it seriously enough to accomplish something like this. But now I am sooooo proud of you!!!!!!

I wish I had more time to hang out at PC, but now I'm a working woman. LOL!

Way to go!

Well losing to that first guy didn't stop me or mess with my head. I don't know what was going on playing him but I was losing more than winning and really can't think of how I would have played differently. But that didn't keep me from joining the tournament

Yes, I did post my win on Poker Crush with a little note to Poker Guru about my thoughts right before the tournament started.
