Ah ha, so it sounds to me like it may be what rsablebomb just mentioned then - that because you're in the US (you are in the US, right? - yes, PA, I see now) that apparently they no longer allow any new US members, so they've somehow added something to their programs' coding that keeps US people from being able to download or actually to run the program, I guess.

Sounds like US people who already had the programs on their computer before the policy change are allowed to continue to play, but if you have to reinstall your program for whatever reason, you can't do it. Nor can you if you never had it on your computer before the change. Doesn't that sound like the reason you can't get these to work?

Well, if that IS the case then, one thing you might try is an IP blocker, so that the program can't tell where you are located and might allow it then. Some program that masks your IP address from them, so you're (sort of) anonymous (incognito). However, I wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't work either; they may have it programmed so that it won't run if it can't detect your location also. But not necessarily, and I think I would at least try that if nothing else worked. I think there are some free-to-download IP masking programs you can get online.

I would get mad too if I couldn't play those free tournaments- I get in on a lot of them these days!

So good luck with it - hope something works for you soon.

Hello everyone,

Cindy0926, I certainly feel your pain!
I have been frustrated with this very same issue.
I have Windows Vista Home Edition and have had troubles with ONLY the download version for ALL Microgaming Casinos since I got this computer.
I have no issues with getting any other casinos to run, just the micros.

I have lost count as far as how many Microgaming Casinos that I have mentioned this problem to, and they were "so" willing to help, as they figured they had the cure.
However, still no luck.
It was like listening to a broken record... same steps to take.
Disable this, that, etc... try cleaning this and that.. bla...blaaa..

Red Flush (probably my favorite), was kind enough to send me a CD
(of course, I was waiting for like over a Month..).
I was sooooo excited when I got the CD!
BUT, only to be disappointed a few minutes later... as it did not work, either.
My friend from out of state was kind enough to download a couple of Micros onto a CD for me, they did not work.

AND, I know exactly what you are talking about when the Casino looks as though it is fine and going to work - but, all of the sudden..."Poof"!
And, it just disappears.

I miss "XP" and my old computer.
Or, maybe I don't miss either...... I think I just miss the Micros!

Micros are just not going to work with the download version on this computer or operating system or whatever....

I think I am learning to accept this, somwhat.....

With that said, I am willing to believe that it is not out operating system, but instead our computers.... or, the combination of both.
'Cause, many people tell me that they have Vista and have only minor, but adjustable issues.
And, then the Casinos tell me that their software can run on this operating system.

I have an Emachines computer.
What kind is yours?

But, then again my last computer was also Emachines...

Oh.... I don't know, anymore

It is just too bad that the casinos cannot check it out with the developers of the "Microgaming" software.
I mean, I would suppose that they would be able to come up with a 'fix', for their own software...?

Maybe I will email and ask this.
Let me figure out which one I want to email

But, then again.... I just know that if I do email... it will be the same thing again.
And they will give me a list of the steps to follow, which I happen to know by heart, now!

I'll post here, if there is any new progress or information!
