I Came Across Something Strange About A Bonus

This happened today. Well I had been playing on it for several days.

I made a deposit and received a bonus at a Rival Casino (who I highly respect and like) and contacted live support to see if I had met playthrough requirements because I wanted to play some other games that didn't fit in the playthrough requirements.

I was told yes, I had met playthrough requirements.

But then when I asked if I was free now to play all their games they said no! That my bonus was still active till I either cashed out the required minimum or more money (minimum was $70) or till my balance reached $1.00.

Now what is the point of playthrough then I would like to know in this scenario? Is it now not enough you have to meet a playthrough but you also have to cash out or go broke first?

Isn't this a new thing? I have never run across it before. Once I met playthrough I was free to play anything. I could see that they would still force me to do a minimum withdraw - that would be ok - butI don't know why I couldn't play other games.

Anyone have this happen to them? Just want to know if it was a new trend.

In my previous post I had sent an email to have them explain my confusion. This is their reply. So be careful if it has a minimum cash out!!

You are allowed to play other games with deposit promotions once wagering requirements have met.

The only promotions this is not allowed are the promotions with a minimum cash out. You are not allowed to reach the minimum cash out through other games.

Any promotion without a minimum cash out can be played in other games as soon as wagering is met.

So my understanding is... if it has a minimum cashout listed whether you met playthrough or not you have to play till you cash out the minimum or go broke. You also can't play other games to meet that minimum but the ones allowed on playthrough.

Well if I am wrong someone please correct me lol

We are indeed kindred spirits because we both keep running into weird situations.

Just yesterday, also at a Rival casino, I contacted Live Support to get another bonus I was eligible for. I had met the playthru on the first one and had also deposited a rather hefty amount.

I was told I could not get the second bonus until my balance was zero! Then she asked me -- GET THIS -- if I wanted to cash out so my balance would be zero!!!

I told her I DID NOT WANT MY BALANCE TO BE ZERO! I wanted my own cash (much more than the second bonus) to have something to play with. She said, "Well, then, you cannot have the bonus."

Then she had the nerve to ask me if she could help me with anything else!

What do you make of that? LMAO!

If there is no minimum cashout posted with the bonus you are free to do what you want after you meet playthrough. You can play other games, cash out anything you want just as always.

BUT if the bonus rules state there is a MINIMUM cashout all of the above does not apply.

You then have to make playthrough, AND cash out at least the minimum (or go broke) before the bonus cancels out.

So if you take a bonus make sure it doesn't have a MINIMUM cashout listed in the rules if you want to do what you want with your money after playthrough.

This happened at Pantasia but when they wrote me back they gave me $15 free in my account to compensate for the confusion which was nice. But I am now aware of this new bonus rule.

So Royal ya need to cash out minimum to cancel out your previous bonus. From my understanding you won't be able to cash out later if you get below the minimum required to cash out. So if you have enough to cash that out I would do it just to cancel the previous bonus to play however you wish from then on. But now your aware of this new bonus rule like me lol

Well I just wanted to tell ya that because I would hate to have you win something big and have it voided for some reason or another because of a bonus misunderstanding.

Just cash out like a good girl, (minimum required) Then put it all back in if you want and play like a crazy lady anyway you want. heheheh
