Dear Crushers,
Continuing celebrations for our 14th year since we started we have at least 1 extra daily contest until 15th December, after which we build up to the festive period of Christmas and have daily contests relating to Christmas.
THIS IS OUR CONTEST FOR DAY #11
Each "daily" contest may last more than one day (the planned end date is shown above), and generally will depend on when I can get to judging / drawing winners. So, feel free to continue replying to any contest where winners have not yet been announced and you might be lucky
This contest idea was from webdeb who won a reward prize in our November "Help Us Prepare" contest ...
TELL US ... WHAT IS THE BEST AND/OR WORST BIRTHDAY PRESENT YOU EVER RECEIVED (AND WHY) ...
- Entries must include the best and/or worst birthday present ever received AND why it was the best or worst.
- Maximum 2 answers (one for best, one for worst in 2 separate posts) per member - please allow another member to post in between.
How will Winner(s) will be determined?
There will be 1 prize of 1 x $5 for 500 CCpoints randomly drawn from all eligible posts.
General rules for December 2017 Daily Contests:-
- All entrants should have read the rules and abide by them
- Unless specifically stated above, please allow a reply from at least one other member between your own replies.
- Unless specifically stated above, winners will be drawn randomly from all valid entries.
- The time/date of the draw will be determined by crushadmin based on availability and number of answers given. Generally this will be between 24 and 72 hours of the contest topic being available in the Contests forum.
- Please do not chase up when reaching the minimum payment threshold - prizes have and always will be paid as soon as available and at our earliest convenience.

The best birthday present that I ever got was a pair of new skis for my 16th birthday. I got them just in time to go away for the ski weekend with my High School.

The worst birthday present I ever got was a bottle of "expensive, very good" wine from a close friend
I took it on my casino birthday weekend, iced it down, lit the candles, put on
a sexy teddy and romantic music. Then popped the cork and poured 2 glasses of vinegar ! The wine had turned and was undrinkable. Everything ready to party, with nothing to drink.
Luckily Coushatta Casino has a convenience store on the property so Hubby got dressed and made a liquor run. We had a great evening but I really was disappointed about not being able to drink some quality wine instead of the ones in the marked down bin at the grocery store.
I had a boyfriend in high school, we were dating about 2 years. At Christmas I bought him a bunch of things, and he gave me my gift. A bag of things from Rite Aid. Including a brush, pack of cards, some candy, Shampoo and conditioner, and a few other things I cant remember. I just remember how I re thought our relationship after that no thought probably last minute gift.

My best birthday present was a lei and a luau. We had been waiting for 2 years for a job in Hawaii for hubby. He was a dolphin trainer, so Hawaii is the ultimate location. We got the phone call that he was hired and a month later (June) we moved. To make it even sweeter, it was my 40th birthday, and really special so we went to a luau. We lived there for 12 years and loved every minute.
