My plans for New Year's Eve are just to sit back and relax this year. Watch some fireworks if there are any from our lanai or from the television set. Happy New Years to All.
My son just turned 10. He's my youngest. And, tho I want another child, I'm in my 40's and I have a team of kids anyway. But, he wants to "stay up ALL night" so that he can see the New Year. Little does he know, and luckily for me, "ALL night" is actually jus til midnight. My "ALL-nighters" ended about 5 - 7 years ago. I want this memory with him, b/c I'm fully aware (due to past experiences w/my daughters) that once those teen years hit, hanging w/poppa isn't as cool as it used to be. That's my long-answer to say that I'm ringing in the new year w/my boy!

Used to get a dressed up & go out of town, reservations at nice hotel & party, BUT past few years (as I've gotten older) haven't really wanted to go anywhere, BUT this year, I've been invited to party at a couple of my friends house (they're roommates) so I think I'm just gona say what, the hell & go &
