The past 3 or 4 days, I have been having a really dificult time . I ran out of my meds (and for soome reason, my son-in law- waited until today to get them) Anyway I went upstairs to get a pop and Samntha, my 4 year old granddaughter (whom some of you have met) yelled at me to wait. Since I always do what she says, I waited. She came running back with her "blanky" and gave it to me. "this will make you better Grandma" she says. 
(I had never talked about it in front of her, I wasn't aware that she even knew) And do you know what? it did help me feel a bit better 
Of course at bedtime, she needed it back. LOL
