I got a little money windfall so I thought NOW or NEVER to get my computer.
So I am typing this on my NEW HP Pavillion and New HP 19" Widescreen Flat screen monitor 
Ok I need to brag a little - my old computer was ancient.
This computer is 64 bit MultiMedia Center, Intel Core 2 QUAD Processor,4 GB Ram,wireless, ethernet and built in modem,NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Graphics Card, 750 HD, DVD R/W and rewrite, Has TV turner so I can watch my cable TV when I get the urge (I have no TV so now I do lol) and it comes with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit version.
Plus it has this neat Personal Media Drive Bay where you can just pop a drive in (no hookup of wires) and pop it out to transfer to another computer using an USB cable.
I have AM/FM radio antennas, tv Live broadcasting antennas.
And all sorts of other dohickies and dodads that I haven't even begun to explore yet.
I LOVE my new optical keyboard (YAY no more stiff keys) and optical mouse. I can plug anything into this baby. PS2's , anything media related.
So now this week I am trying to learn Vista, and have yet to get everything off my old computer but I will get there.
This is my birthday/Christmas present to myself for the next 5 years LOL
