PostPosted: Wed Mar 03, 2010 2:11 pm    Netspend works at some casinos still Reply with quoteBack to top

Just wanted to let you all know that I also use netspend to make my deposits when I play and you are correct when you say they have started blocking gaming transactions..however..I have been able to get it to go through at Royal Joker without a hitch...I was thinking someone could benefit from this info. I know how awful it is when you are trying to deposit and BANG ..REJECT..
I think that perhaps the way some casinos are able to process the transaction is they use a generic type name that we are charging to so its not automatically appearing as a gaming transaction. I know that some casinos change that info often so it is possible if netspend didnt work today at a casino, It could tomorrow..Smile

Good Luck...
Lord knows we need it Smile

Hi everyone.. I hope someone can help me here..this is the e-mail I got this morning..after all Geno's help, too..
My question is since I don't have a regular banking account.. can anyone offer any advice as to whether it would do any good to get a Wal-mart pre-paid Visa, or net-spend visa to set up an ewallet express to withdraw my winnings???
thanks for any help you offer...
Shawtygirl

Dear XXXX,

Due to issues with the processor that handles our ACH and Check processing, we have no choice but to remove those as options for our players.
The processor is no longer in business, and your pending cashout has been reversed back to your casino account.

Please login and request your withdrawal again.

We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Sincerely,
Vegas Regal Casino Customer Service

Shawty, I could be wrong but I am under the impression that a withdrawl to visa etc end up working just like an ACH withdrawl. Like i say, I may be wrong but I am thinking it ends up going out like a direct deposit to a checking acct(paperwork wise)....but wait you are talking setting up ewallet express, on that I have no idea..if you end up not being able to do an ewallet express..how are you expected to get your money from these people if they wont ach or send a check??? You could look into quicktender..Do you already have a quicktender acct? But then again, the casino has to support that type of withdrawl also...
What other means of withdrawl did they offer you..i see what they say they will not do..did they say what your options now were? is it only ewallet express??

Keep the faith..lol You will somehow get your money out of them.
And dont play any of that reversal into your acct. I think the casinos sit and pray that we put it all back in a situation like this...so fight the temptation hun..
ya know the more I think about this the more angry I get. They have been telling you its been processed etc..you have been waiting .waiting..and then they email you saying this???? ....This seems like awful behaviour on the part of this casino and im MHO someone really needs to look into this because it seems a little rougish...just my thoughts
is rougish a word??? LMAO...

I know I am just not understanding here.. but I have never set up an ewallet express or quicktender..
they are telling me to set up an ewallet express.. but I am confused as to how to do that.. I feel like an idiot.. do I need to set up an ewalletexpress and fund it first with my own money..wait until it is confirmed and then have the casino transfer the money to the account?
I can do that if I need to but that would tie up even more of my own money for a few days. but if that's the only way to get my winnings then I will do that.. I don't have a regular checking account due to identity theft about 5 years ago and have chosen to just go the direct deposit method on prepaid cards with all my job incomes. so they are not really considered traditional checking accounts..so I would have to get like a netspend or a walmart visa with a routing and account number to set up the e wallet express.. at least to my understanding because the casino tells me they cannot just put the money back on the card i deposited with in the first place...uuuugggg.. I hope i am making sense here...I have never heard of a casino not being able to issue a paper check.... ????

I hope you realize that a Walmart Visa charges you $5 a month whether you use your card or not. Just so you know.

Hi,

Shawtygirl when I first opened my Ewallet Xpress acct I had to transfer a min 50.00 to them via my bank acct..I reside in Canada, so not sure about the USA but I would assume the procedure would be the same..

I totally understand your frustration..I also have not heard of a casino not issuing a paper cheque but in the email the casino states they no longer due business with the processor they used...hmm wonder how hard it is to find a new one Rolling Eyes

Hang in there hun..
