I recall this being a topic of discussion one time on an episode of "All in the Family". Anyone remember?

Well I was born and raised in snow country; so I always figured that if I at least had something on both feet and a fire broke out and I had to run out in the snow, it would be better to have two sock and no shoes than one sock and shoe on one foot and nothing on the other....following me? lol

So therefore.............I put on both socks first by virtue of habit.

well when i get dressed and how i get dressed depends on whether or not i am in a hurry and where I am going. If i am not in a hurry then i just take it one piece clothing at a time .. if i am in a hurry then it is pants, top socks , if daughter hasn't took them and then shoes
