Hi, my name is Sheryl. I live in Illinois. I picked LuckyItalian because I'm Italian and Italians are *SUPPOSE* to be lucky. I'm also an *ARIES*. Combine the two = TEMPER, STUBBORN, ETC!!! LOL Although I have a 23 year old daughter, no one ever believes it. I come from a family of 7 kids and I'm stuck right in the middle. I was a tomboy growing up *BUT*, am 100% woman now!!!

YOU WANNA KNOW ABOUT ME?
Well, I'm a 32 year old single male (named is Gene but lots of people call me Geno which I prefer), currently living in the Midlands of the UK (well for the last couple of years), previously lived much further south - which I much prefer - so I'll prolly go back there - closer to friends.
I like to tap away at my PC (obviously lol), listen to lots of different music, love comedy generally, going out with friends, drinking more than I should, and of course a little bit of gambling (yeah right lol).
Since I moved to the Midlands last July, I found I had a bit more time on my hands, and found myself reviving an old site I started about 2 years previous, which really didn't get anywhere because I didn't really have much time. I then started working with a certain ezboard forum, which I'll not say too much about, but basically decided I could use everything i learned about the forum world to try and make a place I thought I would like to visit, with no bitching, something different to offer, and most importantly built based on people continuously telling me what they wanted of such a place (I say 'me' because I had no idea I'd need staff to help me at that point). A few months on, I couldn't cope but already had some great members, including our Orangie and Dr, who were called ermm something else lol, and having chatted a bit with them, I had a great feeling they were the right people to team up with to continue building CC. Not even a year into it, and we were needing some more help and with perfect timing we were in touch with LadyCrush who I know many of your know. As well as bringing many of you here, she brought much needed assistance and fitted in perfectly with the CC team.
And now here I am, the so-called leader of the best team I've ever been part of, working with people who are always polite, professional, courteous, funny as hell, but above all people I consider to be the best 'remote' friends I could have wished for. I've never had such a high feeling of team-spirit and for this, I'm very grateful.
Of course CC wouldn't be anything without it's always increasing number of members. So to those of you who've been with us since the start way back in ermm.. Dec 2003 (not really that long ago is it?), and those of you only recently finding us, and of course to my crucial crush staff team - THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DREAM COME TRUE

WHY CASINO CRUSH?
As for Casino Crush, well it came about from my love of cocktails way back about 4-5 years ago having experimented with a large amount of them lol. The 'crush' part being the crushed ice that makes up many a good cocktail. Some characteristics of cocktails being..
- lots of nice things all blended together to make something REALLY nice!
- there's always new ideas for new cocktails which gives more choice
- people often stick with a favorite, but when a new one comes on the menu, you might switch to a new one, and maybe go back to an old one for old times sake, some people always try lots of different ones..
I thought that that related back to the way I thought of people trying out and playing at different casinos. So, there you go... basically my love of cocktails and casinos mixed together
IT'S YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE (BUT I'M THE BOSS

So, I see you've been making a vote about one of our staff winning the prize and you crushers only taking away 3 of the prizes..
Now, guys and gals, that is really sweet of you, but I'm sorry there is just no way we can allow one of our staff to take a prize we've set aside for a crusher.. so how about this..
We still have 4 crusher prizes as we did before..
PLUS... One staff prize (which you nominate - as a vote at the top)
Of course we have to allow voting for a crusher to win the extra prize too hehe. It will hopefully be easier for you to see how the votes are really going (and no double counting hehe).
I hope you think that's a fair compromise?

I want to apologize. This voting was all meant in fun. I wanted to see one of the staff members win and I really felt that we were going to have a random drawing. This was *NOT* meant to show favoritism or feelings to be hurt. Please think about this in casting your vote because I sure did. What was fun at the moment, isn't any more. I thank Geno for allowing one of the staffers to win but I didn't think it would end up this way. I love all the staffers the same and I guess its no secret what I voted for.

Oh dear sweet LuckyItalian, please don't feel that way. This has been and is still fun. The "uproar" lol you started, has touched each one of the staffers. We appreciate your gesture very much and it is so nice to "hear" how the members really feel about us too. I know I can speak for the 4 of us when I say, its not a "job" here at CC, its something we all love to do. And with what you did, it makes it even more special to be a staffer here at CC.
As far as the vote goes, I'm so glad Geno is doing it that way, it takes the pressure off of me whew. lol So turn that frown upside down, this is still fun LuckyItalian and you've played a big part in making it that way! I am a very proud mother of the two best kids in the world, Jason and Kristy. Besides working at CC I am the official cat door opener for my two 13 year old brother cats, Chubetta and Baby. lol
I used to work with Geno at another forum and when he mentioned he was opening up CC I begged him to let me come and help him out. At that time I just carried over my other board name to here and thought, hey, this is a brand new forum, I haven't made any enemies here yet so why not start off brand new too. lol So I asked Geno if I could change my name. After thinking awhile, I liked the name Crush but I couldn't think of anything that would go with it until I went to the fridge to get a Coke, lol then it hit me. When I was young I used to love Orange Crush the soda pop. So now you know the secret behind my name. lol
The last year and a half has gone so fast, I absolutely love it here because of Geno, Dr, Lady and of course all the wonderful members we have here. Being an only child, its always been a dream of mine to have a big family and that's what CC is to me, one big happy family. I'm proud to be a "Crusher"!
