I was at a wedding were the flower girl ran out of flowers and sat in the isle..pretty cute

Well I just love weddings the reason for this is the food, a normal wedding banquet in Italy lasts about 3-4hrs with loads of different servings, I'm getting hungry just thinking about them LOL.

well i had my second wed in vegas, at the wed chaple, it was nice my girlfriends husband walk me down ile, we had 15people out there. and on the vidio me and my maid of honor started laughing and couldnt stop long enough to say i do. i watch it now and neither of us know what touch it off, but i got a ceriticate so im married lol, ty josie46

Many years ago a friend of mine got married close to St. Patrick's Day. The bride was happy to have her bridesmaids wear emerald green satin gowns. All was going well until little by little the bridesmaid gowns started to come apart at the seems. Thank goodness for the invention of the needle and thread. Mackieo

On my wedding day one of the gifts my Uncle gave us was a white

stretch limo with all the amneties......Well when the limo pulled up in

front of my parents house it was this black limo (not stretch and no bar)

My Uncle flipped out and was yelling at the poor driver....

" we are not going to a f*&%^&ng funeral " it wasn't the drivers fault.

Needless to say it should have been a sign of times to come as I am

divorced now....

I hate wedding

The funnest wedding I have ever attended was a wedding chapel in Vegas where Elvis Married you, My sister and her boyfriend of 11 years finally wanted to tie the knot so we all drove down to vegas and went to this cool chapel, Elvis sang tons of songs, and married them in Elvis style thank you very much...

Nice contest! Sweet, funny and sad stories. I live each of them and feel so empathetic with those involved -- cry when they did, laugh when they did, etc.

We didn't have a formal wedding, so my story is not much. But we DID raise a beautiful baby boy ito a now 30-year-old who is a celebrity in his own little town not far away. He seems to be everyone's best friend. He is everything anybody could ever want in a son and more -- in short a real Prince Charming!

So I guess that makes up for no big wedding to-do.

P.S. The townspeople even affectionately call him Our Prince Robbie.

The ring bearer for my oldest son's wedding was a 4 year old red headed pistol At the wedding rehearsal he was all over the church and being very inquisitive and we all thought we were in for touble. As it turned out the little guy was so shy in front of all the wedding guests that he quickly went and hid behind his mama, who was one of the bride's maids.

When my now 22 year old granddaughter was 2 or 3 she was a flower girl in one of her aunt's weddings. She not only had flowers in her basket but her favorite "Weeble" toy!!!! I must say she did well.

I was maid of honor at my best friends wedding. During the ceremony while I was standing I felt my slip, slipping down. After the ceremony the best man and I were walking down the aisle out of the church, right before we hit the end of the aisle my slip was around my ankles. I picked it up and shoved it in the best mans tux pocket.

Come to think of it I never saw that slip again.

Great stories! Love the flower girl stories, the "Love, Mommy" and the escaping slip. Do men really like attending weddings better than women? Is it the pressure or something?

I don't have a personal story, I really hate weddings.

When I was a kid (oh, thought I didn't have a story, guess I do) about 5 I was my brother's flower girl. Instead of throwing the rose petals on the carpet, I leaned over and put them on the floor.

Oh, and The Wedding Singer is my favorite movie.
