Update Email From Sarah January 25, 2013

Hey,

We arrived around 10:30 am and the flight was about 1/2 hr late..the weather is crepe here..cloudy, windy and damp..some bloody start to a birthday vacation..I'm already hating it..who's idea was it for me to come to Cuba..

Anyway Kelly please let grandma know we arrived safe and all is ok..except next time I will spend extra $$'s to go somewhere else..

Will be in touch later this week..Rita please give my love to everyone..Dad hope you're feeling ok..I swear it's like being on a deserted island here..

Oh wow and Sarah was so excited.I to was told the weather sucks in Cuba but I figured hearing from her that I had heard stories ALTHOUGH I asked someone from there that said it was crepe (as Sarah said lol).I hope it clears up and hope she continues to at least have a safe trip....SUNSHINE and a GREAT time for sarah

awwwww that stinks! I'm sure they can find something to get into to have some fun...we are talking about Sarah AND Monica lol

I feel so bad for sarah , I don't even know what a person would do in cuba besides for buy cigars...lol. At least she is safe , I would be nervous the hole time. Well I hope the weather clears up so they can site see. am sure cuba has a lot of night clubs they can go to and have some fun. Hopefully it was just a rough start and every thing goes well for them. thanks for posting rita

Just wanted to let you all know that today was a much better day..the sun has been shining most of the day and we went into Varadero shopping..
Yesterday I was just bloody cranky & tired..

Now Colleen and I are off to the beach..the food is pretty good and so are the rooms..

Kelly please let grandma know that all is well with aunt monica & I and Dad we're doing good..May not do the Havana trip this week as we already have a lot scheduled..

OMG I am having a blast here in Veradero, Cuba..Colleen & I are taking a day trip into Havanna tomorrow and Monica was suppose to go on a Jeep Safari today but got a bad reaction to the sun if that makes sense..so we went in to the docs here and got some cream..Monica is doing well now..

I had one of the best birthdays ever here..I have tons of pics to post when I get back..

Rita thanks for letting ev1 know all is good with the exception of the 1st day which stank/sucked etc..lol..but I was tired and cranky..also thanks again for taking over my bingos..you rock my sista

Woohoo I'm back home ..our flight was delayed 1.5 hrs which seemed to take forever

After all the excitement and walking we did all week I'm zonked..Can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight..

I took over 400 pics and will be posting some of them sometime this weekend..
