My dear sitemates ~

You all cared so much last time that I wanted to spare your holiday feelings this time.

But now I have decided that you deserve an explanation for my silence.

My mother has been back in the hospital for 2 weeks. Her condition is critical. The doctors can't understand how her heart keeps beating, even tho it is irregular.

They will not even consider a pacemaker or anything else much, because they say, "It is TIME for her to die." !!!!!

I have been so upset. Who are they to play God? Their oath and license does not call for them to control life and death, but to help life!

I have been with her as much as possible. That has caused me to miss times I would otherwise have been with you.

I know you understand. You are such GOOD friends. Nevetheless, I apologize and promise to make it up to you.

OMG Royal I am soooo sorry to hear that about your mother. Those doctors should be fired or something. It is not even close to their right to say someone should die because they are old!!!! I cannot believe it. You have my deepest sympathies.

Oh my god that is not-so-good RC!! How dare they call themselves doctors!!! Your poor mom, you and your family, I can't imagine what you are all going through. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers hun!!!

Aww Royal I am so so sorry hun, no need to make anything up to us.
I lost my mum due to doctors playing God and telling her she was a mystery and to continue to taking a medicine prescribed to someone else as long as it eased her pain, Instead of sending her for tests to find out what was really causing her pain,
I know how hard it is and believe me, my prayers and thoughts are with you every step of the way.

Keep strong for both of you, and don't let them tell you whats best if you know she can do better.

royal im so sorry to hear about your mother being ill and the heartless attitude of the doctors who im sure would react differently if it was their own mothers...nothing i can say is going to make you feel better at this time but i can only hope your mother recovers and my thoughts are with you and your family... but no way should you be apoligising as their is absolutely nothing to make up to anyone as you are one of the kindest and most considerate people out and at times like this all your thoughts should be on your mother and noone else and if you cant make it on here for a while then everyone understands why and im sure they will all share my thoughts on hoping that you are okay.... anyway my thoughts are with you at this time

Dear Royal Crush I am so sorry for your pain . I went through the same thing when my mom died she was 75 and they said she had lived as long as her time would let her . Her heart was bad but never had a heart attic or any thing like that . She always seemed healthy to us .She was a strong woman . They seem to do nothing for her either . but soon she filled with liquid and passed . I feel if the doctors would have done something she would have lived much longer . I bet you are feeling the same way . My prayers are with you and your mom . Please don't feel like you should apologies to any one just keep your thoughts with your mom and family and God . They are all you need to worry about right now . We all know you care about us all so much too . If you ever need a friend each one of us are here for you Royal . I know each of us are going to pray each and every day till things are better for you all and your family . Just remember Friends like us are forever Hun and I mean forever . Dear Royal....bless you for your strength and perserverence and strong "life" feelings. My mother had a massive heart attack and it took paramedics more than 20 minutes to get to her...my father's resucitation had little effect. We decided to take her off life support after EVERYONE in the immediately family agreed, knowing even if she survived she'd be a vegetable. She lingered for 4 long, heart wrenching days so I can imagine the pain you're going through. Please, remember, everything happens for a purpose and God bless you and your family!
