Hello Fellow Crushers!
I am from a little hole-in-the-wall called Windber, Pennsylvania. It is just down the hill from the famous Johnstown, Pa (where the entire town was flooded out when the resevoir broke). I live on an elevation looking over the town and have a birds-eye view in case it ever happens again...lol
Seriously, I love it here, especially in autumn, when the leaves change colours. This town started out as a mining town and has remained a quiet, peaceful place to live ever since.

I was born and raised in New York City, New York and am now living in North Carolina since 1990.

I am from Western Pennsylvania in the USA
We have all 4 seasons here. The Pittsburgh Steelers (Last years Super Bowl winners) are on the bottom!!!! This was once a big steel producing area but not any more. There are a few Universities located here, University of Pgh, Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne. There is also a large medical center here. I have lived in and around this area all my life.

I'm was born and raised on the west island of Montreal - my parents, both immigrants, literally met on the boat coming over from Europe ! Lots of ethnic diversity growing up.... so, at least i wasn't the only kid on the block wearing sandals with socks! For now, California is home, but I would jump at a chance to spend a year or two in Europe-

Well I was born in the wild west state of Montana (Big Sky Country). Lots of real cowboys there We have beautiful mountains (Rockies and Cascades). Fantastic fishing and wildlife everywhere. I used to be able to drive 5 miles out of the city and see herds of wild goats or antelope flowing along a hillside. I lived there for 38 years or so and then moved to Oregon.
I really miss Montana a lot and am always saying I am going back there someday. It gets in your blood. But in later years I did not like so much snow and cold.
Lots of blizzards and with wind chill factor we would get to -60 at times. One winter I had to call friends to come dig me out since the snow drifts closed off my doors front and back. That was in town
But Ice fishing was a blast!!
Oregon is wet wet wet but also green green green. Mountains here have a lot more plants and bushes making walking more difficult in them than in Montana.
*sigh* even writing about it makes me want to see it again
So basically I have lived in the Northwest of the USA all my life except for a couple years in Dallas, TX.
I LOVE reading all your posts everyone. It is so interesting!!
