Posted: Wed Oct 10, 2012 2:37 am Review of Treasure Island Jackpots Casino - Betsoft
Hey Crushers! If you read my review on the Big Game slots, you remembered how I said that I was in a rut because we US players are barred from many online casino softwares such as Microgaming, Playtech, Rival, and the like, and just with RTGs pretty much. Then I get an invite from BetSoft's Treasure Island Jackpots casino and decide to give it a shot. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with the casino, and they are generous with the free spins (which I'll explain later). On the other hand, if you want to play...click here:
Their software is BetSoft and they are affiliated with Firebrand. They have a sister site called Atlantis Gold Casino. Note: If you register a real money account with one of the casinos, you are already registered for the other one. Just simply login at the sister site.
Yes...Treasure Island Jackpots does take US players! (Yay!)
Currencies available: USD, Euro, Pound, and AUD.
Deposit Methods:
For US players: Only Visa & American Express is available at the time.
For Non-US players: Bank Transfer, UseMyWallet (if still available), GiroPay, iDeal, PaySafe Card, & UKash.
Most (if not all) of these deposit methods are instant.
Withdrawal Methods:
Visa, MoneyBooker (or Skrill), Bank/Wire Transfer, and possibly UseMyWallet (if still available) and Checks.
US players may only have the Bank/Wire Transfer and the Check options. Bank/Wire Transfers take about a few days for a withdrawal and checks takes about a couple of weeks.
What Kind Of Games Can You Play?
There are many casino games to choose from! You have your:
Classic 3-reel slots like Diamond Dare, Wild Berry, Scorching Sevens, and Pina Nevada.
Video 5-reel slots like Big Game, Age Of Spartans, Fistful Of Dollars, and Tails Of New York.
Video Poker like Dueces Wild, Jacks Or Better, Aces & Faces, and Bonus Poker.
Table Games like Poker, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Craps.
Keno and Scratch Card games are also available.
Any Live Tournaments?
Treasure Island Jackpots offers daily live tournaments. There are daily slot and blackjack freerolls available that lasts to about a day or two (I participate in the daily slot freerolls at any chance I get! Just find 'Monty79' ) There are also slot and blackjack sit-and-gos with a buy-in ranging from .10 to .50 (that's very cheap! )
Note: Be sure to register for a tournament in advance because once it starts, it's too late to join. Also, if you joined a tournament at Treasure Island Jackpots, you can not play the same tournament at Atlantis Gold and vice versa.
What about Special Promotions?
Like most online casinos, there is always a welcome bonus for depositors and non-depositors alike. Here at Casino Crush, we have an exclusive 10 free spins promo on the Fistful Of Dollars video slot. Just download Treasure Island Jackpots Casino by clicking on one of the CC banners posted above and below this review, register a real money account, login, go to cashier, click on 'Bonus', type in the code: TJSPINF10, and there you have it! Also as a first-time player, you get to claim 100 free spins on the Age Of Spartans video slot.
Depositors can claim weekly promos. For a welcome bonus, depositors can get up to $1000 free in bonuses and much more in comps.
And of course for depositors and non-depositors alike, there are weekend free spins! If you have registered at Treasure Island Jackpots Casinos (and the sister site), be sure to check your emails for free spins because they expire quickly (about 24 hours since you've received the email.).
I've never heard about Treasure Island Jackpots casino until I got an invite from them by snail mail. I wasn't quite sure about this particular casino until I've got the green light from the moderators here at Casino Crush...so I gave it a try.
For being a new player, I was able to claim 100 free spins on the Age Of Spartans video slot and an invite for the $2,500 freeroll tournament. I was lucky enough to win some money off the free spins (and the tournament 3 weeks after), and used my winnings to explore the games on the casino. Needless to say, I was quite pleased! I liked a lot of the video slots (great graphics!), love the freeroll tournaments, and I even like some of the 3-reel slots...and I'm not a 3-reel fan! I have not made a deposit at the casino yet, but I definitely will in the near future.
One of the things that I really like about Treasure Island Jackpots are the weekend free spins. Sometimes, you get to claim free spins during the week. They are very generous when it comes to that. I've had a expierience with live customer support when I've had trouble claiming a certain code, and the support was fast, helpful, and friendly. One thing I would change is that you should be allowed to join a tournament after it has started like most other casinos.
So the bottom line is: do I recommend this casino to my fellow Crushers and other players? The answer is yes! If you haven't played at Treasure Island Jackpots yet, just click on one of the banners provided above and below this review, register a real money account (although you can play in 'practice' mode after signing up), and give them a try. Also, check out the sister site Atlantis Gold, if you'd like!
Well, I hope you like this review and convinced you to try out some new casinos. I wish you all the best of luck the next time you play! Happy Gamings to you all!!
