Review of "Dragons”

“Dragons:”
Dragon’s video slot at Bovada Casino is one of my favorite video slots. It is beautiful, and entertaining, and has the potential to pay out very nicely, indeed! Symbols are mostly mystical, magical dragons, depicted regally in beautiful colors. Other symbols are a wild symbol, and the dragon scatter. Wilds can appear anywhere, and the scatter must appear three or more times to trigger the bonus.
Dragons is a 25 line video slot game with a minimum bet of $.25, and a maximum bet of $125.00 per spin. If I ever have about ten thousand in my bank roll I might give the high spins a try, but that’s not very likely . . . Meanwhile, I usually bet a quarter and enjoy myself for awhile, going back and forth between this game and others.
Bonus Round:
The bonus round is triggered by three or more Dragon symbols anywhere on the paylines. The bonus is ten spins. During each free spin, wins are randomly multiplied by up to ten times the about of the bet. In addition wilds can randomly appear, and sometimes expanding wilds appear, increase wins dramatically. Free spins can be retriggered during the bonus. Dragon’s is the type of game that offers the potential to win big on small or large bets.
To the best of my knowledge, Dragons is only available at Bovada RTG Casino. Although Bovada is RTG, they have a group of their own proprietary games that are a few steps above normal RTG slot games, and they come out with new games every few weeks. New games usually perform very well for the first week or two, which makes new game rollouts an exciting time to play at the casino. The new games at Bovada are the closest thing I can get to that microgaming feel, and I think that why I love them so much.
Dragons is a stunningly beautiful video slot, with earthy-toned artwork and a hint of mysticism in gleaming rainbow colors, and fire-lit sconces. The color-scheme is reminiscent of a fancy palace dungeon where you might find such beautiful and rare creatures as the colorful creatures depicted in the game. I think the game artist is quite talented, and the graphics of the game can rival any video slot on the market today.
Audio is another story, however, as the background audio has that RTG “heart attack” sound when the bonus round may be triggered. I mute the sound, because it’s enough to put me in the hospital with anxiety, and I look forward to a time when all RTG casinos start to spend a little bit of money on their audio.
System:
With this particular slot game, it’s hard to rely on any kind of system. If you’re hot, any size bet seems to pay, and if your cold, even quarter-sized bets can leave you with a zero balance in no time flat. There have been times when I have remained on really low coins for a few hours, and then hit it big and bumped my bet up to higher amounts to good effect, but I can also say that the opposite has happened. Bovada does seem to offer decent playtime, compared to other casinos, and even if your not winning big, you usually win enough to keep playing for awhile.
Every few deposits, you’ll have a nice run, but it’s hard to tell when to withdraw, because my balance frequently goes into the three hundred dollar range, and drops to nothing very quickly. As we all know, when it’s gone, it’s gone. On one occasion, I had my balance up to $1,000, betting on $1.25, but I didn’t withdraw in time and ended up playing through all my winnings. I really hate when that happens, and eventually hope to learn from this mistake.
For the purpose of this review, “Dragons” video slot was played on the downloaded version of Bovada RTG Casino.
