My review of AS THE REELS TURN(1)
"With Friends Like You"
AS THE REELS TURN(1) is one of the first exclusive to Rival Software, exciting video I-Slots. I-Slot means Interactive, and that is exactly what it is too. You are making decisions, leading your character through the story, selecting which type of bonus round, and choosing your fate.
AS THE REELS TURN(1) subtitled "With Friends Like You" is just one of a three part soap opera style saga, based in a fake casino called El Paradiso. With shady mobsters and scantily clad women you are highly entertained! I like that it is available by download or instant flash style and found in every Rival Casino I have ever played.
Featuring Free Spins, Bonuses, and Great Graphics. There are 15 lines on 5 reels, wagers from $.01 to $1, a maximum of 5 coins per line bet. Plus a random multiplier in the free spins, which can be re-triggered to infinity! You can select AutoSpin, but set it to a limit first.
What to look for on your reels?
3 Scene Advances lead you to the next scene, pausing for you to pick one of two items where bonus coins are hidden.
Tommy W lets you first choose a look-alike of a famous musician, then perform. Pick right for more.
Ivan, the sharp-toothed yellow fish is the Scatter Pay. Get 3 or more for 5 Free Spins and upward. Re-triggers and Bonus Rounds available too!
I have found betting max coins, with less than all lines, no matter what increment of bet amount, is the best way to play long and get lots of bonus rounds. Whatever you do, try not to bet just x 1 coin, because I have lost over and over myself this way.
I have had a few nice cashouts, but that has been quite a while ago now. Still, all in all, this is a fun little saga to play. Relax, take a seat and reflect on the good ol' life, don't skip the bad acting scenes, and enjoy As the Reels Turn. Just keep spinning for more winning fun!
