oh god, i didn't mean to say the word "I" what i meant to say was a company.

What im trying to establish is if a company had invested a huge some of money in to running a casino it would make me think differently on whether or not i would play there, on the other hand if i knew some company had to only invest a small sum of money in to a running a casino it would also have an effect on whether or not i would play there.

My last post in this topic, your wearing me out, i can't keep trying to say the same thing about 20 different ways lmao

Sorry if I am not answering your question but I am trying.

The money would depend on the software provider start up cost and it varies by software provider and what packages they offer. So it could be $5000 to $100,000 depending on the packages offered by the provider and what options the provider offers.

If the provider handles all the accounting, cashier, software...
the casino operator handles all the advertising, bonus offers (this I am not totally clear on if it is by provider or operator or both) and bringing in customers.

The provider cuts a check for the operator minus losses (bonuses, player defaults, wins etc).

The provider pays the casino operator. The casino operator doesn't get the money first then pay the provider. The provider gets all the money and pays the operator - according to the package deal they made.

Basically the operator is a glorified affiliate with a lot more work.

Other than that I don't know what to tell you. I gave it a shot Smile

What they initially invest makes no difference that I can see. Either way it is still run the same is what I am trying to say. LOL It all depends on the package they get.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg.
I think you need at least 3-5 million in liquid funds to get that casino package from Microgaming.
I'm thinking maybe a million for Playtech.
Rival and RTG are less expensive by far...but you'll still need a shytload of cash on top of those software&royalty costs to get a license.
I think the only place where you can "start a casino for free" is Grand Virtual.
They'll provide you everything and you'll get a piece of the income.

To be exact, not sure if Grand Virtual has that kinda service anymore...G-feds were some sorta ready packages as well. But that was ages ago. Both these two.
