I like surprises. I dont like big surprises like diamonds or furs but i love to be surprised with flowers or chocalates or a lovely card.

out for tea at tyhis chinese restaraunt every year.They love me there and every birthday they know im coming and always surprises me somehow.
So yes....surprises are good

I've never had a surprise bday party thrown for me, but I think I would like that -- it would depend on everything else, so someone would have to put some thought into it, to make it go over well.
Anything someone put some thought into -- all for me -- would make me happy too.

I like all of the above. Weather its a big shin-dig or a small intimate party with family. Age is just a number, so birthdays are not depressing for me. As long as their is CAKE there I am happy.
