Great "Think Tank" of Crushers here, eh? Have loved every suggestion!

My own preference would be a Hippy Party of the 60s ! Oh if only I could remember all the details.

One thing I DO remember is guarented to make EVERYONE have a marvelous time! At a bit of expense to the party host, but worth it, (and this would be a group of very carefully selected guests whom you know well), The Centerpiece would be filled with all the "special" little cigarettes that create Flower Children out of hard-nose and bully types! OH, the MEMORIES!!

Everybody has to have at least one vice in their youth! That was mine. (So glad I don't really have to grow up unless I want to!!!)

ROFLMAO To what other group, online or off, would I ever say the above words? NONE!!!

i'll agree with the toga party suggestions, they were always my favorite back in college.

i like the mix matched clothing theme. everyone tries to mismatch the clothing the ugliest as possibly. clear down to two different shoes

I've seen suggestions for 60's, 70's and 80's.......why not a 'Fabulous 50's Party' Ask your guests to dress in Poodle skirts, bobby socks and saddle shoes, bowling shirts and capri pants, tight, cuffed jeans and white T-shirts (with a pack of ciggies rolled in the sleeve) leather jackets. Greased back hair for the guys and beehive hairdos for the ladies LOL Have some great rock and roll music from the 50's (Elvis, Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Dion, Bobby Darrin, the Platters, the Del Vikings) to dance to. Get some silly putty and yo yos for party favors and have a hula hoop contest LOL

My first idea was a 50's rockabilly swing type theme. but people already said that so..... how about a celebrity theme, or forign cultures, or maybe everyone could dress up REALLY fancy, and shiney like mexican TV wrestling champions, that could be quite a festivity eh?
