My prayers are with here and her familey to be strong to make it through these rought times ahead . God dose have a place for all of us when it is time to go . The life with God is a better place with peace and no more pain .
I too send my deepest sympathy to Marlene and Her family
Hoping that Marlene knows all her friends here at CC are there with her in spirit
And that we all send our love and support
Marlene had a quick chance to see the early posts this morning,, but then had to meet with the funeral director. She told me how much she appreciates all of the sympathy and prayers. She is going to try and post something later today.
to all of you with love & hugs....thank you so much for all your prayers & support...my mother was a beautiful person...we couldn't count how many people she has helped in so many ways, even giving ones who needed it, a place to sleep till they got back on their feet & buying, cooking and taking meals to families who had less than us. we were considered "poor" but there is always someone worse off and my mom knew that & acted upon it. the world had her for 89 years & i had her for 70, thanks be to God. i've never known a more loving, giving, sharing person in my lifetime & don't think i ever will. my mom was there when i took my first breath & i was blessed to be with my mom as she took her last. God bless all of you & thank you, donna especially for all you've done for me. i love you all....marlene

That has to be one of the most wonderful sentences I have read for a long time! It really touched me.
I am sorry for you and your family's loss but you know her time on earth was well spent! She had a long life and though it may not have been easy she is at peace now. I am sure all the people she helped along her long road remember and appreciate her.
She will always be alive in your hearts and her spirit.
Hugs and know we all care. It is always hard to lose a parent no matter what age. They brought us into this world. Life gives us plenty of hard knocks but you know she lived her life well. It had meaning.
