Posted: Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:34 pm PRAYER FOR MY FAMILY
It is with the greatest sadness that I make this request for myself and and my family... our son Joseph, 14 years old (to be 15 July 18 2009), passed away July 12, 2009, approximately 10:05 am ... Joseph had open heart right tri-cuspid valve replacement in June of 2003, and his health had improved dramatically, he was in good health showing no signs of any problems at all...
He collapsed, surprisingly, losing conciousness, never to re-awake again... after several attempts to revive him at California Valley Childrens Hospital.., our Lord Jesus, called him home..
We will be having services, to celebrate his life sometime next week.. yet our sorrow deepens and will continue for some time after.
I would like to Thank you each and every one of you ahead of time, for all your prayers and words of wisdom!

I am trying to think of the right words to say, but my mind is blank. I am so so sorry to hear of your immense loss. My thoughts, heart, and prayers go out to you and your family.

Thank you all soooo very much, it is greatly appreciated.... just a bit of special blessing for us all..as it happens... our youth pastor had sent Joseph a "birthday card" via snail mail... We had not opened it ..till a few minutes ago... WOW!
Joseph's spiritual birthday (the day he accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour)... was on July 12, 2001.., and God took Joseph into His heavenly fold on July 12, 2009!
The hand of God works in sooo very many spiritual ways.. and this is another testimony of seeing God use this child as one of His finest working tools (Work towards the Glory of Christ, that is).. I praise Jesus, and feel so very blessed to have had this child in my life... Amen, and Amen!
Dearest Bob, To you and your family goes my deepest condolences and prayers. I know well what you are going through since I lost my own son last year very suddenly. He was just 19 years old and had been to the doctors that very day. There was no indication that he was about to die.
Know that in heaven, your Joseph and my Bobby are laughing and playing together under the watchful eyes of Jesus. Marlene is there being the cheering section, I am quite sure. Knowing that Joseph had taken Christ into his heart must be an immense sense of peace for you. Joseph is watching and waiting for you too. You will be reunited by our heavenly Father.
If you need to talk, I am available 24/7. Just ask Rita for my phone number and I will be glad to talk and listen as long as you need.
MAWOY and all your family in these distressing times. As people are still saying to me, the pain will diminish in time...... but no-one exactly knows how long that will take. Mine eased the day Marlene joined my son in heaven. I know she is there looking out for all the children. She loves the children so much. Just remember him as he was, vibrant and healthy for the extra time you had with him. See him smile in your mind's eye and smile back at him. He loves you still. and always will.
Donna I'm sure you're words and strength will be an immense help to Bob..
Bob you and you're family are in my thoughts and prayers..What do you say to someone who has just lost a child, I can't even fathem the idea or thought of what you're going through..

Bob,
You and your family have my deepest sympathy. I also know what it is like to lose a child. But there is no greater love than God's Love. My prayers will be with you and family.

Thank you all soo very much, it is by my faith and shear faith in God that we will be able to get through this.... I dont think that I have found anything more confusing and yet, the good Lord teaches to seek Him out and he will answer,... and ya know I do believe.. this is His way of sounding out the "Wake up Call" to those of us that find the necessity for it...
...in this world it is sooo very easy to get complacent with our lives and with our loved ones..and it is... times such as these that truly pulls families back together and find ways to set differences aside and re-group there value systems and realize that "Love" should never be taken for granted..
Thank you all for your kind words of wisdom and all of your prayers... they, too are never to be taken for granted... hmmm, God Bless you all!!You are truly a blessing to me and mine!
