We Now Have Free Games - And Game Points!

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know we have been busy here again at CC forums and after lots of work we can now tell you
that..

NOW YOU CAN
PLAY GAMES FOR POINTS AT CC FORUMS!

Just look for
the new "GAMES" option on the menu!

You will see that we have
introduced "Game Points" to the forum now.

You've all been given 200 or 1000 Game Points each for our trial period (til 31st Jan
2004)

At the moment, we're
adding new games and working out the best rates for game-scores : points to make
earning points at each game fair.

There are high-score
boards for each game where you can see who's in the top 5.

We will use these for
contests from time to time so high-scorers at the games can win

This is a new venture to
us, so any feedback as always would be greatly appreciated.

Over the next few days
lots of new games will be added and during this time - all scores are for trial
purposes only. Next month (1st Feb 2004), we'll reset scores to 1000 each
(or maybe you could buy Game Points with CC Points.. still looking into that)
and get some contests involving Game Points too

Please post any
questions/suggestions you have in the new "Free Games Chat & Support" forum which is now there for you.

Hope this is a nice way for you to spend time when the chips are low or you're just bored

Keep your eyes peeled -
we should have at least 20 games there by the end of the week!

O boy do I have a suggestion.....I was playing poker and had raked up a pretty good score and then I accidentally clicked "new game" button and poof my score was gone.....I guess a fix for that may be a box that pops up and asks if you are sure or maybe just removing it. Besides that I had a fun time playing.

I'm really sorry but I don't think I can amend the games in that way as I haven't written them.

We're only in trial at the moment, with all scores being reset next month anyway..

If you / anyone wants more game points - just ask and I'll add you more asap. All I can suggest (for now at least) is that you remember not to hit new game whilst playing until you've saved your scores correctly (sorry - not ideal but best I can do at the moment).

I haven't played space invaders FOREVER! ! ! (and boy you tell by my scores lol) I remember when it came out. If I recall it was one of the 1st video games and a far cry more challenging and fun than pong, the other choice. OK I'M OLD lolol

I played the Jewel game and and got the high score and I saved my game but my score didn't show up at all. Just thought you might like to kno, maybe it was a techinical difficulty or something.

Firstly, DJ6482, could I ask that you download the latest flash player and retry and let me know how you get on.

Hope this is ok, but it's best to try the easiest options first.
