Hi fellow Crushers ~
If any of you watched the national news tonight, the little tourist town where people were sky-diving off our bridge into the gorge (called the Grand Canyon of the East), is where I live.
I live so close to the edge of the gorge that I could throw a rock onto that world-record-holding bridge.
At the bottom of the gorge, there is wonderful white water rafting in the New River (the oldest river in this part of the world and one of the few rivers in the world that runs from south to north).
If any of you ever vacation here, be sure to stop by and see me. My house is on the walking tour map. They call it on the map "The Old Fort".
You would never run out of fun things to do here, if you like the great outdoors and/or a wide variety of exotic, self-styled restaraunts.
Also art and antique museums and live stage plays (in which I often act) in a restored century-old theater. Many live music performances, too, in which I often play the keyboard, but NEVER sing. LOL!
Plenty of motels/hotels/campgrounds, but all you have to do is say the word "Crusher" and your complimentary lodging will be at my house.
Just thought of something. LMAO. I am NOT on the Chamber of Commerce and have nothing to gain from your visit except your company and getting to meet you in person!
