I switched IPS's from ATT to Cox Cable because I got tired of ATT charging and adding onto my bill month after month. First it was Wireless Phone which was getting over charged. Every month the bill went up about $5 to $10 until last December my monthly bill was $160.00 (DSL, Phone, and Wireless Phone). After reviewing the bill I saw a lot of items that I did not order or wanted, so after getting the phone bill back down to around $100, the same thing started. Last month my phone bill was back up ato $138. I decided on prepaid cellular and cancelled my wireless. I waited until my contract was up (I called to make sure). Being true to form, they decided to charge me $175 early termination fee for each cell phone (total of $350). I was really pissed off, so I decided to ditch everything, including Directv, because Directv was now going to be billed through ATT. After I got off the phone with ATT and before I received my equipment from cable, my internet was shut off, three days before I requested service to end. So I had to wait until my cable was all set up. ATT use to be a good company before SBC (Pacbell) took over. SBC(Pacbell) had such a bad reputation that they decided to keep the ATT name, but it's still the same company. Now I am happy that I have everything back on.
Have a great day.
