I bought my dog liquer and chocolat, but now I saw on the news that its bad for them. Oh, well I guess I'll keep it for myself

I've always had cats, two right now and they get a nice big fresh bag of catnip for christmas. A stoned kitty is a happy kitty.

We are currently petless and I will spare you the details. But we used to have a cat that loved to smack the stockings and christmas ornaments around. LOL No matter the punishment or number of offenses he just couldn't help himself.

Far from grasping, Orangie, this is a WONDERFUL contest.

Now I must make a confession that has brought me ridicule for years and years from just about everybody who knows or finds out.

Every year at Christmas -- not only do I spend more on my doggies' presents than on any single other person -- but ALSO I cook two complete Christmas dinners -- almost identical, except the one for my doggies has many extra taste treats than the one for my family and friends.

I love my doggies so very much. I still am crying several times a week over the loss of my favorite , little Dreamer, who lived well beyond what is considered old age for her breed. She and I spent 24 hours together every single day for more than 15 beautiful years. I had never before and will never again be loved so much as that baby loved me. Sometimes I just want to scream out her name in a primordial scream and beg God to send her back to me. We still need each other.

But I do still have one of her daughters left and I am loving her like what seems twice as much now. Her name is Baby Bru and she is 14 years old now. But nobody -- dog or human -- will ever take my Dreamer's place. She had fuzzy boots for those little feet in winter.......and they were far too large for anyone to ever fill.

But -- anyway.......my answer is YES, I DO.

i have a big dog and when we bought a big box of dog bones we let her know they were her xmas presents and now when you say xmas present she is right there waiting. only problem is this time of year we make sure to have her bones as the word xmas present comes up a lot among people but shes in the middle waiting for her present as far as our cats they are in the middle of everything having a blast tearing it apart and so that seems to be the best xmas present for them.

As I said in another post I put a santa in each of the grands stockings and I've done this for about 20 years

yes i have one cat , i hang up a sock for her it has a mouse & cat treats in it for her. but if she don,t stay out of my christmas she might not see that sock at all .lol i got het 6moths ago . i love her a lot , have a nice christmas every one mrsdrt6

we have a cat named sam he is 7yrs old and I always buy him presents but what he likes the best is the paper and boxes. yes I hang stockings.

Yes , we just got 2 little kittens & everyone laughs when they see 7 big stocking hanging from the fireplace , (6 grandkids & 1 great grandchild )....then over on the window sill I have tinsel & 2 small stocking with" Trapper & Slapper "written on them with balls & a very small candy cane in each .They don't try to get them , but they sure love to slap at the decorations on the tree & climb into it . I am forever chasing them out & putting the bulbs back on the tree ,... but I wouldn't trade them for anything . good luck all ! Thanks !

Yes I always buy presents for my pets.. they are family! The one I thought was so funny is we had a little black cocker spanial for years and years and she just LOVED Christmas. She always knew she had at least one or two presents under the tree too and could hardly wait to open them.. They were wrapped just like everyone elses. We gave her her presents and she would rip the paper to shreds to open them to get her toys or treats.
One Christmas she couldn't wait and we got up one morning and all the presents had been opened and all the paper was shredded all over the living room.. She got her presents early that year LOL

one year I brought my cats a basket, it had catnip and cat biscuits and toys - all sorts of things lol and my cat who is now 14 broke into it lol before christmas of course. At least it was appreciated and he opened it himself LMAO

Christmas for the pets are a must at my house. My daughters (and I ..but don't tell anyone)purchase stuffff for the 3 dogs, and 3 cats. they enjoy their toys. Part of my eldest daughter's Christmas list always includes items for the animals and her horse too. Mackieo

we don't have any animals but we do hang stockings every year. They are my childrens favorite part of christmas because they can rush down stairs and open them with out waiting for everyone to wake up
