December 2022 Christmas Crossword Contest - 16th-31st Dec

Dear Crushers,

We have a huge crossword for you to puzzle over during the rest of December (crossword opens on 16th December 2022).

You can see the crossword here (image only with clues and the crossword grid) by clicking on the thumbnail below.



The words and clues are made up from a bunch of previous crosswords including birthday and christmas themes as well as more random ones to make it more of a challenge.

Please POST A REPLY saying you would like to take part AS WELL as completing the crossword (you can find that from the top menu).

Maximum Score possible : 217 (you score 1 point for each correct letter entered in the crossword)

Score to qualify for a random draw prize : 200 or more.

Prizes: 1-5 x $5 prizes (random draw) that get the maximum score of 217.
There will be minimum 1 prize (for up to 5 qualifying members taking part, maximum of 5 prizes (if at least 25 different members take part and qualify for this contest).
If nobody gets the maximum score - then no $5 prizes will be given.

Prizes: 1-5 x $3 prizes (random draw) that get a score between 200 - 216 (inclusive).
There will be minimum 1 prize (for up to 5 qualifying members taking part, maximum of 5 prizes (if at least 25 different members take part and qualify for this contest).
If nobody gets at least a score of 200 then no $3 prizes will be given.

YOU MUST BE SURE TO *FINAL SUBMIT* YOUR CROSSWORD BEFORE THE CONTEST ENDS ON 31ST DEC 2022 (or else you will not qualify). You can SAVE you progress as many times as you like before Final Submit (but you may only Final Submit ONCE).

This crossword is open until 31st December 2022. Eligibility will be checked and prizes drawn on / soon after 1st January 2023.
