Hmm, good question.
There used to be a yellow link to it, but not sure if that was on the old web design or if it was on the new one at some point too.
So either Geno has forgot about it's inclusion during the sites revamp or maybe he scrapped it or it is lurking around somewhere on the site.
I'm not much help I know LI - sorry about that.

Hi Super, LuckyItalian,
Yes, the Portal also shows a list of recent topics, but also shows quite a few other interesting things, links and 'latest offers' that we think may be of interest. The Desktop is useful to have in the background when you're surfing elsewhere or even just leaving your puter on in the background.
The portal is a good way to catch up when you've not been to CC for a little while to see what's latest.
Running our CC desktop though also
- informs you (by sound and banner) when bingo is being played in Live Chat
- makes you eligible to play for the Desktop Jackpot (see the link the Dr posted above for full details).

Hey Doc ~
Thought I might find you here. Considering the kick I got from reading the first post I encountered from you, I have what struck me as a great coincidence and I want to share it with you and suggest we do something special about it, although I cannot yet come up with a way to celebrate my cincidental little tidbit.
Before I reveal this thunder-striking tidbit to you, I feel that I should let you know that that I do not believe in either coincidences or accidents as a general rule.
And now for my coincidental tidbit : Guess what! --- Your birthday and mine are merely one day apart!! So, fellow Aquarius, no wonder my first impression of you was one of some kind of kinship!
We must vow that no matter what, we will both survive to acknowledge this world's good luck on the 5th and 6th days of February! Agreed?

WOW!!!!....Well my dear RoyalBlush.....I have to agree with you there..and I will do my best to indeed survive....lol
Now with that said I too also have a little tidbit to offer to you that I believe, prior to revealing it to you, that will rock your world and really give you a surprize and make you ponder things.
You see Royal my saweet...my Grandfather was also born on ..none other than February 6th!!!!!!!!!........and it was I who was his birthday pressie..lol..now this could be argued as to if I was a worthy gift to receive...lol...however....my Granddad and I are almost identical in many mannerisms and in looks...my what an attractive man he was too!!...lol
So it goes to say....yes....I think we are connected....

Well Royal I'd really like to know but unfortunatly he passed away when I was only 14......and you know...to this day I think of him reguarily and have his picture and war time medals displayed in my home.
I am not a religious man...but I do feel as tho he watches out for me....kinda odd but I just get this feeling he does...he was my hero.......and still is in many respects....
Now I'll stop before I get upset thinking bout how I always missed him so...lol.and still do.

Dear Doc Crush ~
So sorry that you do not have your grandfather with you in the flesh anymore. It is quite obvious that he meant (and perhaps still means) the world to you.
Your post triggered many questions and as many of my infamous musings. I won't get into them much just yet because we really do not know each other enough for me to overstep my bounds. But I do believe that "something" causes you, even after all these years, to feel so strongly that he is watching over you. In my humble opinion, he is probably doing just that, which would explain your constant thinking of him, still missing him so terribly that I would guess you still could quite easily be brought to tears , and your still maintaining a shrine to him in your home with his pictures, medals, and a million memories that are warm still.
Considering this, and I am always overstepping my bounds so pardon me in advance, I think you should give great thought to the matter before you ever again make the statement: "I am not a religous man". My dear friend already, one does not think and feel as you do in so many areas if he is totally devoid of "religion"! I put the word RELIGION in quotation marks because I am speaking of God's religion and not all the rituals and shindigs that mere mankind has created and named "religion". It pains me that the works of man have driven so many away from appreciation and understanding of the works of God.
And at this point, I am entirely aware that I should reign in anything further on this subject at the moment, lest I be accused of something like "preaching" or flaming or spamming our Creator. Merely asking you to do a little contemplating of your own belly button at this point.
Just one more thing -- there is no man braver or stronger than the one who allows himself to cry when upset over something as important as the death of a hero. And there is no faster means of real growth than the growth that occurrs at the end of each good cry. Too many "men" deny themselves the opportunity for such growth toward being a REAL man!
Sincerely,
~ royalblush

HELP! I lost my CC Desktop and I don't know how. And I don't know how to get it back. I even tried re-downloading, but almost messed up my computer. The start button wouldn't give me a menu or do anything.
I found a place somewhere while fooling with my Contro Box that had CCDesktop listed as 1 of 2 options, but when I clicked it, nothing happened, so something else is keeping it from being displayed.
Doc, don't send me to the URL that has newsletter in it. That is the one I tried as per your instructions to someone else on this page. That is not what is showing in my computer's name for it. It has CC Desktop instead of newsletter.
AND ... Is it true you have to have the desktop running to win a prize on the Daily Lottery we can do 10 times?
Thanks for any input. (Doc, don't send me to some weird place). LOL
Luv to all

Hi there royalblush,
Please see https://www.casino-crush.com/bb2/desktop_settings.php to see how to re-do your desktop.
And, no - it is not a requirement to be valid for lotto. It is needed for the hourly random desktop jackpot.
