Spinning Wheel During Tournaments?

Hi Crushers

Have you ever been playing a Microgaming tournament to have the wheel keep spinning? Frustrating huh? grrrrr lol

My friend was here when I was playing a tourney and the spinning wheel started. She said press F5 and poof it stopped spinning.

I kept doing that until 1 time it didn't work and she said in the upper left hand corner of the screen you'll see "?" click on that. So I did and the Question box popped open on top of the spinning wheel and the spinning wheel stopped.

So this is what I do when the wheel is spinning.

-Click on F5, if that doesn't work
-Click on the "?" and leave the box open but drag it over to the far right so you can see the slot, if that doesn't work
-The only other alternative that I found is to go out and come back in again. This does take precious seconds away but its a LOT less frustrating then watching that damn wheel spin!!! lol

I hope this helps any of you that get that stuck spinning wheel syndrome like I get all the time! lol

Another tip if some of you don't know about it already is to, silence the volume in the casino using the speaker icon in the top right of the slot window, you will then be able to use all your coins within the time they give you.

Wow, thanks for the great tips. Just today I was playing Tombraider ( the buy-in $200.) and lost almost a minute while it kept spinning and spininng.
I finally left and came back in to get it to stop. Wish I had known then what I know now.

Also for Thunderstruck.... I minimize the slot and bring back up before I start. Sometimes that helps the speed but I can't wait to try the volume trick.

Im telling you webdeb, you will be gobsmacked at how much quicker it is, i use all my coins in ever tomb raider and thunderstruck tourney.

It may be quicker but it doesn't mean you can win more, i know that for fact.

Also the reason it keeps spinning is because you start at the same time as all the other players, so the microgaming system is very busy, i find it much quicker if you start 1 or 2 mins later than the start time, that way the system is under less pressure and you spin much quicker

Thanks for the tips! I have always disconnected the casino and then reconnected, which takes a lot of time off of the clock. I play these tournaments frequently, so these tips could really help a lot!

Hi ya Boris, I just wanted to say thank you for letting us know about turning the sound off. I've done that the past few tournaments and I finally get to use all my credits. yayyyy Now if we could just figure out a sure fire way to win these tournaments. lmaoooo

Also another thing you may find useful, is an auto clicker, that's what i use.

can't seem to find where i got it from though, let me know if you struggle finding a free to use auto clicking software and i'll have another go at finding it.

Yes, Webdeb i found that software which i think is great, i am already using it, it will make my gaming life much easier.

However the rate at which you can get it to click at is just 1 second, where as the one which i found let you set it to 1 millisceond or something silly.
