Ladbrokes, Gala And Coral - Please Do Not Play - See Why

Dear Crushers,

It is with a very sad heart that these places have started to turn on the webmasters/affiliates that have referred many players over the years, from which we were originally given "lifetime revenue" from - i.e. some percent of commission for all the time a player is playing.

Recently a bunch of affiliates, including Casino Crush received an email saying that they are closing our accounts (with 72 hours notice) because we "have not referred a new depositing player within the last 12 months" to them.

We had been advertising Ladbrokes almost since we started way back in December 2003 and had been receiving a modest commission -- nothing massive but quite often a hundred or so pounds every month or two.

ALL OUR CONTEST PRIZES ARE FUNDED FROM COMMISSION RECEIVED FROM ADVERTISERS!

The REALLY stupid thing is they are happy for me to set up a NEW affiliate account and refer more players -- but want to stop paying me (and keep for themselves), the players I have already referred who are still playing!

To me this is very unfair -- particularly to give only 72 hours notice of their decision.

As such, with effect from today I will be starting to remove / replace all Ladbrokes banners and ask that you do not play here.

WHEN THE AFFILIATE COMPANIES START DOING THINGS LIKE THIS - IT CAN MEAN THAT THEY ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY AND ARE DESPERATELY SCRAPING UP MONEY THEY SHOULD BE PAYING TO US "LITTLE PEOPLE" - AND OBVIOUSLY THESE AMOUNTS COMBINED ADD UP TO A LARGE AMOUNT.

There is a topic over at GPWA.org in the affiliate forums about this for anyone interested. I noticed since that thread has been there the GPWA site keeps becoming unavailable (I'm not sure if that is a coincidence or not -- but if CC becomes unavailable after posting this we will have our own suspicions LOL)

I would NOT recommend any existing or new affiliates join their program as it appears even a long term business relationship with them has not been appreciated!

As always ... this is a always a good time to mention other places to play ... and here are my suggestions for alternatives to Ladbrokes ....
