I May Be Out Of Line By Posting This

hi im probably way out of line here but i just thought id get this of my chest.....in the general posting rules from geno it says .......PLEASE CHECK THAT WHAT YOU ARE POSTING HAS NOT ALREADY BEEN POSTED! It is very frustrating when people look at the forum and see many topics about exactly the same promotion/bonus - so please do check BEFORE you post - any duplicate topics will be removed WITHOUT WARNING. If you notice it's been deleted - that is most likely why! ...... and yet everyday when you log in its exactly the same posts day in day out...the same no deposits for example rival casinos must be in the archive a thousand times by now..i know new members might come and they will want to see latest offers but if they want older ones then everyone knows what an archive is for...also i feel if you want new members then they will get put off if when every day they log in they see the site is flooded for umpteenth time with exact same posts...if i wanted i could go into no deposits and post every one their is and if every member does the same...which some do already umpteen times a month then what sort of mess would the forum be in...as i said im probably out of line but i feel i need to ask if this is right as it says specifically in posting rules not to keep posting same posts all the time....and do we really need every no deposit posted 20 times in a month...anyone that looks in archive must get bored after 5th page...sorry if this offends anyone but just feel this should be addressed...i know some people are probably wanting luu clicks but at end of day if the no deposit is only posted once in a month then same amount of people will still see it as the no deposit page would have about 2 pages of offers that month not 50 with same posts...anyway got a feeling ill get into trouble for posting this but i can't be only person that gets annoyed when everyday they see forum flooded continually with same posts

This has been brought to my attention a few times before and it seems that having warned certain 'extra competitive' LUU members before, that they might be now ignoring this 'be sensible' rule.

If this continues, I will be implementing something to limit the number of new posts that can be made within succession (still figuring out the 'right number' / whether it's based on most recent etc etc).. but I will get to this shortly (so that I can later decide if it is necessary, then I can put it in place).

Also, anyone filling up the forums with duplicated stuff will be temporarily banned from LUU as previously warned.

Please crushers, be sensible about what you post.

And for those that think the 'being at the top' in the No Deposit forum gets the most clicks - it simply isn't true on an ongoing basis. Many topics are found from search engines, searches by new members and many other 'links in' to the forum we have on this and other sites.

lol glad to see im not the only one....the way i look at it is geno runs a great site...we all love it and i know if it wasn't for people signing up to casinos through banners the revenue wouldnt be there and the sites would go out of business so obviously we need to help keep the sites going...but as i said if the one offer gets posted once a fortnight say then new and original offers will stand out...for instance if a brand new offer comes around if you dont see it the 1st day and come check 3 days later that offer will already be lost in the archive as it sems to be certain offers just that get repeated constantly...and anyone coming to look for an offer goes to no deposit and if its not continually flooded they will see it click on it and sign up...geno gets paid the same as itll still be there just not a thousand times its only the ones that post for clicks thatll lose out....theres many crushers that probably feel ill post every offer out to receive clicks but they dont as like me they probably know how annoying it is to post same stuff continually.....anyway had my say so time for broxi to shut up i think lol

An actual limited time promo(3 DAYS ONLY)-When I checked back it was Buried-5 pages deep

I only try to post what I don't see posted in the last week-UNLESS it's a Chk Accts-got a freebie.

But I, like you, do realize any posting that gets A "click" is what gets the revenue for us also

I know that I post a lot of the same stuff but I try to keep it at a minimum...today I wanted to post an "oldie but goodie" and had to go to the 10th page for it

I know you're not critisizing anyone but you're just getting it off your chest and that is what Bantering & Bitching is for and I for one appreciate your opinion and point of view...

Some are new to posting so perhaps they're not aware but us old folks should know better ...so if I've caused any Crusher any inconvenience then I apologize...I will be more aware in the future

lol just new ma wee darlin ojis would agree and understand me.... and sarah hun i never posted to blame any member as people probably feel they are doing good but from my point of view if i was a new member andlooked at a forum and saw it was continually same posts daily id probably go somewhere else that wasn't flooded...i know that doesn't seem nice but would you keep buying a newspaper if it had same news every day and no new stories...tho to be fair its not any new members that are flooding its older members ..... anyway theres not any member im criticising its just a general thing..and like ojis said her 3 day offer was already 5 pages in...so lets face it nowhere near as many people would see it as should have and thats the only point im getting at...so instead of people seeing a new offer thats good and generating money geno could actually be losing money....help ive wrote a book tonite lmao

Thanks broxi, I've thought about posting that same subject several times, but just never did. You explained it perfectly. I always wonder if I'll miss a freebie because when I come in and see a couple of dozen no deposits, I don't even read them anymore because It's usually the same ones over and over. It would be nice to come in and see a long line of new posts and have lots of new promos to read about....here's hoping.

Hi Broxi, this is a great subject you brought up and a heated topic for me. it is the same members that keep posting the same thing over and over it's very frustrating to have posted a few promo's then come back and there on the second or third page. there's one member that posted the same offers 3 times in one day, every time it went over to the second page it got reposted... I bascilly think it's lack of respect for others and to some Crushers its all about points, and nothing about the new member. and I have been guilty about this also, I always check to see if something is already posted because I feel like an ass if it's already there. and I have missed some, I'm not perfect lol. but I don't miss 5 10 or 20 of the same offers posted I think there should be a max number of posts your allowed to make at one time, that would solve some of the problems, ex you can only post 5 promo's in a 4 hour period. this way you don't have the same promo's posted all day long well maybe lol... but I do agree with you broxi and I'm going to pay extra attention to what I'm posting.
