Beware Of Web Merchants Llc.

I just wanted to warn everyone about casinos using WEB MERCHANTS LLC. I just received a check from them for 150.00 and the check bounced so if you can try to avoid using them to withdraw your winnings just thought i would give everyone a heads up have a good day

which casino and was there any explanation from them?
I suggest contacting them and find out more info, then come back and see if OC can help, or anyone else

I also got one from them, according to another forum one guy had a hefty check bounce and he called the bank and they told him the account was "closed abruptly". I had one for $500, wouldn't clear, i am overdrawn because of it, had to pay it myself. The group was fortune lounge( and they are one of the best in my book) never, ever had a problem before. Casino i contacted said they are trying very hard to find a way to get us our money and they will let us know as soon as they do. Hope its soon!

I am curious Kim, when did you do the cash out?? Mine was Jan 19th and if they sent out checks this far after that, then that would raise a huge red flag because they would have already known it would not clear. uh oh

New here, but couldn't pass up this subject without joining and telling!
Web Merchant LLC bounced a check for me too! $2,975.00. That totally messed up my account!!!!
Came through River Bell, bell rock entertainment.
I can't get anyone to answer me or even email me back!

Bell rock still has another $1,500 holding and will not answer me back.
However I might have pissed them off, calling and emailing my bounced checking account so many times that they actually LOCKED my account! Now I guess I am really stuck! No one will chat or email me back anymore.
I was with them for a couple years too! Geez! And a bummer! I really liked their service in the past.

i definitely cashed out after the 19th of january so put the red fklags up it's sad because they were one of my favorites to they also made me overdraw in my account so your not alone

got a new check today issued from a new bank with a branch in u.s. Sure hope its a good one this time. But even through this fortune lounge has kept me posted and were very nice and helpful , i think they are on the up & up.

i don't think i would ever accept a check from any casino..... at least if you had it sent wire transfer or ach then when it cleared it would be there, if it bounced you would not be liable....

I agree with you, I originally had an ach done but i got an email from casino saying it couldn't be done, my only other choice at the time was a check. I think now there are other options, i even see ach listed as one of them so i think the casino had to find another bank that was u.s. based. Our government in the u.s. sure has made a mess of things for everyone!!

a lot of people when they get a check like this they deposit it then spend it before it has actually cleared.. always wait atleast a minimum of 3 days and call the bank to see if that check has cleared or you could end up in trouble

yes, that is great advice, wish i had done that the first time around, couldn't wait , had to get my gambling fix, i probobly should call that help line NOT (lol)
