Give A Hoot Cupcakes

1 Box Cake Mix of you choice
1 Can Chocolate Frosting (16 oz)
Cream-filled Chocolate Sandwich Cookies (Oreos or something similar)
1/4 Cup Vanilla Frosting
Chocolate-covered Peppermint Candies (Junior Mints or similar)
Small Banana-shaped Hard Candies (Runts)

Make cupcakes according to pkg directions and cool completely.
Frost cupcakes with chocolate frosting.
Split the sandwich cookies in half, keeping the cream side whole.
Place the cookie halves, cream side up, on the cupcakes for eyes.
Cut the remaining non-cream cookie pieces into thirds (for the ears).
Using vanilla frosting, attach the chocolate mints for the eyes.
Place the 1/3 cookie pieces, for the ears, above the eyes.
Pipe chocolate frosting on the ears and around the eyes.
Press yellow candies in between base of the eyes as the beak.
