February 2025 Valentines 2 X Crosswords Contest

Dear Crushers,

We have TWO Valentines Crosswords for you to puzzle over during February 2025!

Please POST A REPLY saying you would like to take part AS WELL as completing the crossword(s) (you can find the Crossword page at from the top menu).

Each member can take part in either or both crosswords and can win prizes in either or both.

Maximum Scores possible in these crosswords :
-- Easy - 213 points
-- Difficult - 203 points

(the score is the number of correct letters entered in each crossword)

Minimum scores to qualify for these crosswords :
-- Easy - 200 or more
-- Difficult - 150 or more

There are different prizes available for each of the crosswords as follows:-

Easy Crossword:-
Prizes = 1 x $10 prize (random draw) per 5 people that get the maximum score of 213 (max 5 prizes if 25 or more members that get max score)
Prizes of 1 x $5 prize (random draw) per 5 people that get a score between 200 and 212 (max 5 prizes if 25 or more members qualify)

If nobody gets the Maximum score in the Easy Crossword - then if 1 single member has the highest score - they will be awarded a $10 prize. If there are more than one with the same highest score then they will be awarded $5 prizes (up to a maximum of 5)

Difficult Crossword:-
Prizes = 1 x $25 prize (random draw) per 3 people that get the maximum score of 203 (max 4 prizes if 12 or more members that get max score)
Prizes of 1 x $10 prize (random draw) per 5 people that get a score between 150 and 202 (max 5 prizes if 25 or more members qualify)

If nobody gets the Maximum score in the Difficult Crossword - then if 1 single member has the highest score - they will be awarded a $25 prize. If there are more than one with the same highest score then they will be awarded $10 prizes (up to a maximum of 5)

If there are less than 5 members that achieve any of the prize levels then 1 prize will be given to those that have achieved the target.
Anyone that achieves the maximum score but are not drawn as a winner will be entered into the lower prize draw (this applies separately to each crossword).

You can SAVE you progress as many times as you like before Final Submit (but you may only Final Submit ONCE - this cannot be undone).

YOU MUST BE SURE TO *FINAL SUBMIT* YOUR CROSSWORD BEFORE THE CONTEST ENDS ON 28TH FEBRUARY 2025 (or else you will not qualify).

This crossword is open until 28th February 2025.
