A Goodbye To My Fellow Crushers

I JUST WANTED TO SAY GOODBYE TO MY FELLOW CRUSHERS. 5 DAYS AGO I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH AN ADVANCED FORM OF PROSTRATE CANCER. MY DOCTORS SAY I HAVE 5 TO 7 YEARS AT THE MAX IF TREATED. AFTER MANY HOURS OF DEBATE, I HAVE DECIDED TO NOT SUBJECT MYSELF TO THE TREATMENTS INVOLVED WITH A 50/50 CHANCE OF CURING MY CONDITION. I LOVE CC AND THE PEOPLE INVOLVED, SO I DO TAKE MUCH REGRET IN SAYING I WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING PART IN SPENDING THE LIMITED TIME I HAVE WITH YOU ALL. THERE ARE MANY THINGS I NEED TO EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE NOT. THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SUCH GOOD FRIENDS!!

I wish you the best of luck in whatever you will be doing and think positive mate you never know how things are going to turn out.

The way they come up with things today could be your miracle in a few years.

Krazy you will be missed here very much. My father had prostate cancer and survived with it for six years, 5 and a half of which he was active so enjoy the next years and take care of our self. You have my prayers going out to you. crzynana

Best wishes and all my prayers Kracker, my "adoptied" dad made a similar decision several years ago and didn't regret it. Enjoy your time and my admiration for your courage and wisdom in this difficult time.

I have always enjoyed your posts. I am so sorry for this turn in your life. Just our of curiosity, have you checked out the Cancer Treatment Center they advertise on TV.? Not only does it help you but they give you a whole support system and have an amazing cure rate. It might even expand the time you have left.

I hope you are able to do whatever it is you want to experience with the time you have left. You never know there may be great strides accomplished in the field of medicine before your 5 or 6 years.

I hope you can achieve whatever you want to do. I really don't know how I would react to news like that.

Our hearts our with you. It has been a joy to have you here. If you get the time come back and say Hi Ya once in awhile and maybe tell us how you are do or WHAT you are doing!!

Don't want to provide any false hope but hope is quite a human factor....

If you can, get to MD Anderson in Houston. They have saved more lives than any other cancer center I know. I know you have said you don't want treatment but maybe they have some other options there.
