I wasn't there for reasons connected with the following, which I had no idea where to post.

You know how some of us have pity parties somtimes? Well, I was having something like that, except mine was a scared-to-death party. Had to have some medical tests and have to wait what seemed like a loooooong ime for the results, but they should be back atleast by next Tuesday.

I just now (Aug. 2, actually 3:30 in morning of Aug. 3) found your posts of well wishes to me.

Now, I am a really tough woman. I CRIED AND CRIED because you all had taken the time to speak directly to me. I WILL NEVER FORGET IT!

I didn't want to worry anybody, but you all deserve to know the truth. "The tests" was a biopsy for skin cancer. A spot on my abdomen. I do get the results back tomorrow (or today it is now). And you will be among the first to know the results.

I am so lucky to have friends like you all. God must have known how badly I needed you.
