I remember way back in the day trick or treating with friends till like 8 pm all around the neighborhood getting so so so much candy. Then my parents would sift through it to make sure it was all safe to eat.

I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS A CHILD , STRAY DOGS WOULD ROAM THE STREETS IN PACKS.....IT WAS REALLY FRIGHTING. THERE WERE NO LAWS IN PLACE ENFORCING RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP.

I used to pick strawberries for the neighbors, they would pay me 2 or 3 cents per quart.

When I was young, there was a fire station in our neighborhood that gave out hot dogs and hot apple cider on Halloween.

When I was a kid our local volunteer fire department put on a weeklong carnival ending with a parade and fireworks on Saturday . It was their main fund raiser for the year

When I was younger, I wore make-up every day and colored my hair. Now that I am much older and probably should wear make-up, I go without. Now I have MANY gray hairs and wear it natural.
