My first bike was just a plain bike, the handle bar was for stearing only, there was only one speed and you applied the brakes by reversing the pedal direction

I REMEMBER WHEN CC BINGO HAD a lot MORE PLAYERS LIKE 20 PLAYERS , NOW WERE LUCKY TO GET 7 OR 8 LOL

i remember fetching water from our out door well

I remember when everyone used the mail and sent cards at Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, Anniversaries etc, and there were large public mailboxes on corners to send packages.

I Remember never talking back to our parents

I remember I use to ride my bike to school cause it was to far to walk

I remember when they started giving hot lunches at the public schools where I lived. I was in 4th grade. Of course, in 5th grade, I started Catholic school (which was 8 blocks away), they didn't have it, so it was back to going home for lunch.

I remember using fountain pens that had to be refilled from a bottle of ink.

I remember when there was not any sales tax on any type of food.

I remember I use to babysit when I was a teenager

I remember picking blueberries and eating more of then than I put in the bucket

I REMEMBER BACK IN THE I950'S , THE SCHOOL'S HERE IN OHIO ISSUED MILITARY STYLE DOG TAGS TO IT'S STUDENTS. I WAS IN THE SECOND GRADE WHEN I GOT MINE. WHO KNEW , WE WERE BEING TAGGED FOR BODY IDENTIFICATION , IN CASE OF NUCLEAR WAR BETWEEN USA AND THE
SOVIET UNION ?

I remember my father would put up a large photo screen in the backyard and all the neighborhood kids would bring their blankets and watch the black and white films (cartoons) mostly .

I remember when I was a kid we used to raid the neighbor's apple trees to get little (really sour) green apples.

I REMEMBER WHEN PEOPLE WENT DOWNTOWN TO SHOP , IT WAS LIKE A SPECIAL OCCASION AND PEOPLE DRESSED-UP FOR IT ....NOW EVERYONE SHOPS ONLINE OR AT THE MALLS , ALL VERY CASUAL
