listening to a hooting owl in the middle of the night because my grandmother always said when you hear them it means someone is going to die nearby!
Of course that is untrue but I still don't like to hear them.

Native Americans believe that owls are a bad omen. There have been times that (Sean), my boyfriend, has taken this to be true and he was right to do so. One time it saved his life. So, I stay clear of owls.

I think it's hard to be sure of what beliefs to take stock in.

FYI: Seeing an eagle is a very good sign, by Native beliefs. Sean also can name instances where this turned out to be very true.

BIRDS FLYING INTO YOUR HOUSE.. MANY BELIEVE IS A SURE SIGN OF
DEATH. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN MY FAMILY, AND THE PERSON
THAT THE BIRD PERCHED BY, DIED SOON AFTER...COINCIDENCE

mask on adults. I hate walking in a store and seeing a adult with mask and not being able to see their face.I never know if they are from a party or ready to rob the store.That is why I am glad they banned adults wearing mask in public places.
