Hello Crushers!

Crushers, please tell us ...

What is a traditional Thanksgiving for you..Do you do the cooking or do you go over to a Family/Friends home..Also what is your favorite Thanksgiving Food..

RULES

Everyone that makes a post will have their names placed into a random drawing where we will give away 1 x $30 prize.

I always have tried to do a full meal every year. This year, I am making the full meal and serving it open-house style for some of the residents in my building that have nowhere else to go to eat that day.
Turkey & stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, peas, creamed corn, asparagus w/ cheese saucecandied carrots, 2 types of rolls and of course, pumpkin pie w/cool whip....lol

I used to do the Thanksgiving meal but for the last 7 years my daughter has wanted to do it. Which works out because now it is near impossible for me to do anymore.

I don't know why, but my favorite is creamed corn. I never seem to make it much throughout the year and I love it.. so it is good I only eat a major amount around Thanksgiving lol

Also, of course, I limit mashed taters and gravy all other times of the year but Thanksgiving

we dont celebrate thanksgiving over here so i guess a traditional one is same as every other day of the year

Every Thanksgiving we hace a seafood feast. everybody that comes brings a different dish.

well we used to go to family's houses for thanksgiving but after having our own kids we have been cooking our own. We make the traditional turkey with all the fixins. I think my favorite food of that meal is the stuffing. Cause for thanksgiving we dont go with the box stuffing we make it ourselves.

used to do all the cooking now we go to daughters house, my favorite foods is the turkey, creamed corn, rolls, dressing, & any salad

I cook all the traditional southern Thanksgiving dishes except for the turkey, Hubby does that on the smoker for 10 to 12 hours. Smoked turkey is my favorite dish for the holiday, it taste fantastic and it's something I don't have to worry about fixing
