We went to Lake Tahoe, The Keys. My mother in law rented a house. We had a blast. The houes came with a kayak, mountain bikes. We rented a boat, and a jet ski. We were there for a week. We went horseback riding. Not to mention it was within a few miles of the casinos.

I was a teenager and we traveled from MD to Oklahoma

Stopping and Seeing Attractions like the Passion Play in an open air arena and

lots of other fun places

When I was 12, I spent a week at Lake Superior here in Minnesota with a friend and her family. It was great to go on a vacation without so many kids......like my family had. We did a lot and had a lot of fun.

When I was 11 I visited my grandparents in Southern California - grandpa bought me my first pair of roller skates and grandma took me everywhere I wanted to go...Disneyland, Knottsberry Farm, the beach...all the candy stores in a 20 mile radius...

A few years ago I stayed at a friends timeshare at Pihia (New Zealand)
It was high on a hill over looking the town and sea
The weather was perfect and I got to do a lot of things
I went in a 4 seater plane
A charter fishing trip
A day bus trip
A day boat ride
And so much more
At night I sat on the deck and watched the sun go down
It was incredible!

when i was a teenager & went to the beach, in long beach, calif there was probably more just can't remember,

Lake Tahoe in a cabin 50 yards from the beach. Riding my Jet Skis all day and partying at the casinos all night. Actually played blackjack with Jay Leno at Harrahs after his lounge show. Ah, to be young again!

When I was around 10, we camped out on the beach at Galveston for a week with a couple of other families. All us kids stayed in the water most of the time and everynight we had a giant bonfire. You can't camp or have the fire on the beach now so I'm glad I did when you could.

When I retired I took my daughter and 2 granddaughters and we went to Ireland, Scotland, Paris and England.

well we usually take our vacations in the spring not summer so it was our spring vacation of 2009. We took the kids to Las vegas. We had such a great time even with the kids there. I hadn't realized just how much there is for kids to do in vegas. lol

Well ... Many good summer vacations, but here are my most memorable ones as I can't just pick one ...

Fun family trip with my kids and dad. Breath taking land scapes, travelling 7 kilometres under the sea in a tunnel and those nights with midnight sun

O2 Wireless Festival VIP style in London. Depeche Mode live, me, good company and 50 000 people singing, dancing and clapping like crazy!

Various trips with friends. Beautiful mediaval city, great pubs, clubs and restaurants and LOTS of fun, always

Cheap discount last minute trip in 5 star hotel, horseback riding at mountains, swimming at Mediterranean Sea, following Alexander The Great's footsteps at ruins in Phaselis, best peaches I've ever eaten ...

Drove to Montreal and went to a baseball game and spent a day in Lake Placid NY.
