Rolling Stone magazine has a list of the top 500 rock 'N Roll songs. Listed below are what they consider to be the top 10. I don't agree with all of their choices; I don't know what judgements they used to compile this list. I'm gonna share it though and you can form your own opinion.....

#9 Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit 1991
#8 The Beatles - Hey Jude 1968
#7 Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode 1958
#6 The Beach Boys - Good Vibrations 1966
#5 Aretha Franklin - Respect 1967
#4 Marvin Gaye - What's Going On 1971
#3 John Lennon - Imagine 1971
#2 The Rolling Stones - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction 1965
AND.......

Famous as the ‘father of contemporary country music’, Hank Williams rose to stardom with songs such as ‘Cold, Cold Heart’, ‘Your Cheatin' Heart’, ‘Hey, Good Lookin’ and ‘I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive’.
Not only did he lay the foundation for country music, but also influenced rock and roll to a considerable extent. Legendary singers like Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc. took inspiration from his style of music and implemented it in their music.
