The list goes on...... As a kid our radio was this huge thing, nearly as big as a juke box that only got am stations. Now we have satellite radio.

My Old Neighborhood where I grew up... Or heck the whole town... We had 1 grocery store, 1 barber, 1 gas station, 1 hamburger stand, a dairy, a liquor store, 4 bars, a fire station, museum (which also served as the Masonic Lodge and the town hall) YMCA, Drug Store, Cemetary/Mortuary/Florist, post office, 1 realtor, 1 bank, a typewriter repair shop, a dry cleaners, 2 schools an antique shop, 1 Vet, 1 motel, (highschool and jr high)... You had to be bussed to next town for grammer or grade school (K-6th) When I got to 2nd grade they built one on the corner of my street. AND LOTS AND LOTS OF Orange Groves, and Fields... Now there are 9 schools, 3 grocery stores, 4, markets2 video stores, 4 gas stations, 3 barbers, 4 beauty shops, 11 fast food places, 8 bars, 3 furniture stores, 3 dry cleaners, 2 fire stations, 5 motels, 5 massage parlors, YEAH RIGHT LOL, Union Hall, 3 Thrift stores, pet shop, 3 tire stores, 4 auto repair shops and several other small businesses, 7 realtors, 3 florists, post office, 3 donut shops, NO ORANGE GROVES, Town Hall (we are still not incorporated so we are a Town not a City) AND THIS IS IN SO. CALIFORNIA...LOL OH AND FOR THE RECORD... WE DO HAVE THE LARGEST TRAIN SWITCHING STATION IN THE WORLD
Now you know my town... can ya tell i was bored? 
waiting for the MAZE GAME to change walls again... I am boxed in again. lol

Phones, TV, Toys are no longer a think thing that is what we did, use our head to think of things to play, like hpscoth,jumprope and so on. Video games now lol thats the thing today for kids. Also I do think anyone really uses a typewriter anymore lol.

Drag racing has gone from gasoline running cars reaching maybe 150mph with engines peaking 700 or 800 hp on a 1/4 mile track, to nitro-methane burning "rocketships" that create 5,000 to 6,000hp at over 330 mph on a 1/8 mile track!

*a little note as to the typewriter.... The very last typewriter manufacturer closed their doors this year. The computer phased them out.

lol i have a serious disadvantage in this competition as im not as senior as a lot of members, surprised a few of them never mentioned the invention of a gramophone to play musc, anyway greatest change ive saw in my lifetimes my personality lmaooo, have a good day everyone

At 60 everything has changed including you and I.I guess it would be proper for me to go with the game of poker.There are so many different ones that there is no one expert in all games.I try but it's tough.
