I loved to play Candyland when I was a kid. I played it again a few years back with my Grandson, but he's now 10....and sadly too old for it. It was a trip seeing him enjoy something I had enjoyed so many, many years ago.

I had A LOT of brothers who were pretty destructive. The only game I remember making it past Christmas is Monopoly. It was fun but my oldest brother always won! LOL I haven't played board games in years, but I think it would be fun to play Monopoly with my grandkids.

Monopoly of course and I haven't played it in years but would if the opportunity came up. I loved Tiddlywinks but that isn't a board game lol
Loved playing Scrabble, Checkers, Chess and a dice game that I can't remember what it is called oh yes!! Yahtzee!!

My fav was a game named 'TROUBLE' It was a board game that had a bubble dome in the middle of the board that contained a dice. Press the dome and the dice tumbled around. My daughter was given the same game with a different name for Christmas. We haven't played it yet.

My favorite boardgame when I was yougner was CANDYLAND!
My kids have a newr version of it today and I do still play it with them.
