I think the new rules are great and I think the LUU contest is great. I just started doing LUU a few months ago and I really enjoy it. It rewards people for helping the forum and I see some people saying that the same people win every month, but from my point of view that is not always true. I managed to win prizes already and I just started doing it a few months ago. I was intimidated for a long time to join the LUU contest because I was always scared that I would do something wrong, but then I realized I just had to read the rules and get to know them, and then keep checking everyday to see if there are any new rules so I dont break them. I was also scared to join because I am kind of a shy person who is trying to "come out". I always thought that if I posted something it would be wrong and people would hate me. I have made a few mistakes with posts in the past and OC has helped me fix them and I am grateful for that
I think its great that those who take a lot of time to do research and look for new offers for us all get rewarded, and if the same person wins every month and is following the rules, then I think that is great too because they are putting a lot of time and effort into sharing and I think its great that prizes are shared with them too.
I personally think that the way the LUU is now is perfect. The rules you just added are great and when you changed it before I really liked the new rules. I think the rules just maybe need to be enforced more maybe, and if someone breaks them, then I am sure they will learn from their mistakes. As have said before and will say again, I have learned some of my most valuable lessons from the mistakes I have made, and I am sure someone else out there has done the same.

Hi Paula, I have noticed your posting and I think your doing a great job.
I know I'm not perfect either, and I do make mistakes.

I have been using the search button before I post something to se if it's already been posted... but, now I'm finding that this is not always the full proof way of making sure I don't duplicate a posted offer... because some members are not putting the casino name in the topic, or putting the name at the end.... so now I am just looking through the first few pages. hope this helps, for anyone worried about making a mistake

Haven't really bothered with LUU clicks in the past and feel some guilt cause i know this would help CC earn money they need to keep the forum going, so I really don't feel qualified to offer much of an opinion. I do know that in all my dealings with CC the admins are always more than fair and I've learned to trust their decisions and even if I didn't like something I give it a month or two to shake out and it always seems to turn out positive.

As for oublic floggings, i believe Vegas has special places to go to see and experience that, SO WHEN THE HELL ARE WE MEETING UP THERE?!!!! lol

3. Put the name of the casino in the title and whether New or Existing.

3 simple rules to follow. Not so hard to follow.


What it basically boils down to is this.

If everyone put the name of the casino in the title, If it is for new signups or existing members only. That would solve one major problem of duplication since you would have to read each post with an offer if there is no name it it of the casino. (ALREADY one of the rules which many people ignore)

It isn't fair to ones who already posted a message if someone duplicates it 2 posts later as more than likely they will get more credit than the original poster because they are higher up on the list new posts.

It only takes a few minutes to check a listing of all new posts before you post. Many times I have come here to post something I just got in the mail only to find it has been posted already. So take the time to check new posts first before you post!! Only takes a few seconds (IF the original poster put in the casino name in the title -otherwise it might be missed)

Most is common sense and the other is a little patience to post before you check other new posts.


When I post I always put in the Casino name and if New or Existing.

I do think the idea someone mentioned earlier is to make a Forum with NEW SIGNUPS ONLY was a VERY good idea! Then have all the others for existing accounts.

As far as the LULU goes, Geno has been more than fair (considering he doesn't even have to give us all this free money he so generously does in the first place) with the LULU contest.

GENO you can't please everyone all the time . You can please some of the people some of the time, All the people some of the time, But never all the people all the time!

It is a matter of reading the rules. I have been here over 4 years and I have broken some accidentally (everybody makes mistakes) and gotten a spanking for it - even almost got myself banned once! (that really scared me LOL) and mistakes do happen. But most of the mistakes is because of laziness and not reading the rules in the first place, or just being to lazy to check if someone else posted it.

Geno is one man, OC is one women, trying to be fair with their generosty and time... we are on the other hand - MANY and there is no way either of them can make this board the way it is - THE BEST FORUM FAMILY AROUND- if the many can't take the time to do a few little things to make THEIR life easier, than to have to crack down with a heavy hand to keep things in control.

very nicely put val and id agree with what you say ....but definetely think its time for everyone to put this luu matter to rest as its been argued over for months now....lets all enjoy the forum and remember theirs far more important things in life than who gets 5 more clicks

how come only the same winners win in the luu contest

Well I think if you look in more detail at the Contest Winners, yes of course there are many the same but also quite a few new ones here and there.

Those with the most 'clicks' on their banners (from both old and new posts) will ultimately have more chance but as the draw is always random based on the tickets - there is always a chance.

Because people often find topics people posted even months or years ago and click - those that have many topics/posts and banners from the past will get generally get more clicks, but this doesn't mean no-one else has a chance.

I'm not sure really what else I can say to you and I believe the current drawing method is pretty fair and does have a few things to balance it out between making sure ..

- Those with the most clicks do get at least 1 prize (first 5 prizes)
- Everyone else then has chances to win the other prizes (as well as those top ones having additional chances).

Of course there are many ways to win money here at CC and for LUU I've decided to not try any harder to make it work for everyone - what we have now is pretty fair and even (but will always give more chance tp those that have made lots of posts with lots of banners but still keeping within the rules).

I can only suggest you keep posting and make sure you add your LUU banner code when you do so to increase your chances - this will help not just in the current month but in the future too (as you can see it does for other more regular winners). (OR of course if you don't like the way this contest is run - concentrate your efforts on taking part in other contests)..

Please remember we are still the only forum to give prizes for placing our banners and have done so for a long time and we have tried to improve things over time based on member feedback, and what we did already I believe does help what you have talked about (but of course it would not be fair to deny all the other members who made many posts and placed banners in the past their fair and therefore better chances of winning now and in the future).
