when I was little my dad would take me to the donut shop on sundays and get me a donut while he had a cup of coffee.

My Dad was a Milkman, he used to take me on his routes when I was little. Still remember it like yesterday.

My Dad loved hunting rabbits.I was so proud when he would take me with him.

My youth was largely spent playing Little League baseball. Like many of the dads, he supported me. I was drafted onto the top team, which had a local legend as manager and top notch coaching staff. Of course, my mom became Team Mother. What was my dad to do? No surprise to the family, he just took the reins as League President. And before Opening Day Ceremony
my dad amazingly transformed a little, local ball field into an actual stadium.
From bleachers to fixed seating, 3-story scorer/announcer building with full functioning electric billboard-sized scoreboard. Best President ever !!!

Most of all reading,fishing,gardening.

My father tried to be both a mother and father. I have the deepest respect for him.

My dad will do anything for a laugh. He used to actually put a lamp shade on his head when my friends came over.

My Dad loved managing rock bands

My father was a very creative man. He did a lot with only an 8th grade education. I had b small bookcase he made in 8th grade and just passed it on to a grandson. He retired as a supervisor of a major company's print shop. I have many things he made. He was a great woodworker. He made his own lathe. I made pa and my 4 poster bed on it many years ago.

My Dad braai's the best lamp chops - Yummy!

I never knew my dad but my grandfather (on my mothers side) was a big influence on my love of nature and animals. He was an avid outdoors man and I remember in the mountains when I was 9 and my brother was 8 he could outwalk us kids. He would get this steady pace and we had to keep up with him. He taught me to hunt and fish. We lost him too young!

I will never forget my Dad's attempt to cut my hair.
At least he tried. I still wore the uneven haircut with pride. lol

My dad drove from Pennsylvania to Florida when he was 90 years old and got stopped by the police for speeding.
