F - Fennec Fox - They inhabit the sandy Sahara Desert and other semi-arid regions of North Africa. They can dig with great speed and they construct elaborate burrows which interconnect forming a cozy underground community.
H is for Hermit Crab---They are slow moving and nocturnal. They interact with one another and live in large colonies. They have long, spirally curved abdomens, which are soft, unlike the hard, calcified abdomens seen in related crustaceans.

Koala - The koala, like all marsupials, has a pouch that holds the young when first born. However, a koala's pouch faces backwards. Koalas suffer from a fungal disease, cryptococcosis, that causes lesions and abscesses in the lungs, joints, and brain; this disease is zoonotic, meaning it can be spread to humans.
