I have Windows Vista and deleted the recycle bin from the desktop by mistake.Can't find it anywhere.Anyone know how to get it back without restoring to previous date?

If this doesn't do the trick Archie- there are a few things we can try. 
1) Right-click empty spot on Vista desktop and "Personalize"
2) Choose link for "Change Desktop Icons" on left-hand side
3) Pick "Recycle Bin" by checking the box next to the name
3) Now "Apply" and should be there immediately.
